I have stayed several times here, almost everytime I've been to Biarritz, and the reception has always been courteous and professional. The rooms have always been beautiful and luxuriously well appointed. Each arrival has been lovely, with reception, check in, car and luggage, and in all my stays, there was only one problem, that was quickly, and graciously, resolved. The hotel is right on the beach, and it's an easy walk down to dig your toes in the sand! It has become a welcome refuge.

This is my third stay at the Hotel du Palais in Biarritz and my best stay. The staff was warm, welcoming, and they remembered me from my last two visits. My husband and I felt well cared for and respected. I don't know if we received a room upgrade, but it felt like we did because we had a room with beautiful views of the city and ocean. Dinner on the terrace last night, with the ocean and sunset, were a definite plus!

A truly 5 star hotel/ resort. From the moment we arrived we felt special, ppl at the front desk couldn’t be nicer. Beautiful room with a view of the lighthouse and the ocean. Clean and comfortable. Walk everywhere. Free shuttle to the train station. Good if pricey breakfast. Dinner at the restaurant we didn’t like especially seaweed dessert 😢. Lobster in beet juice didn’t impress us. But that’s a separate entity I guess and not the hotel. Thank you Hotel du Palais Biarritz! We love you.

Staying at the Hotel du Palais was absolutely magical. The hotel is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen and the views are stunning. Dinner in the restaurant was wonderful. Our whole stay the staff could not have been more courteous or professional. The only thing we were disappointed about was that we only booked 2 nights. Had we known what a gem this resort was I would have wanted at least 4. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

A Magical place!
We had a fabulous stay at this historic and beautifully restored monument hotel. From the moment we check-in, Semen, provided the most attentive care and attention, and walked us to our room and gave us a tour of the hotel. Julien at Concierge gave us exceptional, above and beyond service and information throughout our stay. This was one of the most memorable stay and experience. The dining at the La Rotonda was amazing, the pool is gorgeous, the spa was amazing. Everyone at the hotel provided absolutely the best service. Extraordinary experience!

And also lifeguards at the swimming pool go a step further placing guests and remembering regulars Missing the lunch buffet that was a Hôtel du Palais tradition . This needs to be reinstated as the Sunset restaurant and menu is really not great . Service is not consistent . Tv not working and hairdryers fixed on the wall of the bathroom and weak which is not convenient . There should be a better emphasis on service ! The concierge service is the department that holds together the hotel. They also remember the regulars which is very important !
