Everyone Greets You

Posted Feb 12, 2018
Pros: The grounds are beautifully manicured and the pool was always well maintained.
Cons: Better access to their beach.
Location: You can walk to many shops and restaurants on either side of Sugar Bay. If you don't rent a car, the hotel will call you a taxi driver.
Unlike most American hotels where the staff ignores you unless you make eye contact and speak to them first, the staff at Sugar Bay greets you just as often as you greet them. The overall effect is that you feel your stay with them is appreciated. Our housekeeper saw us packing our car to leave and took time to say goodbye to us. These simple gestures are what causes people to return to an establishment. We met one couple who has stayed at Sugar Bay five times and another couple who has been staying there since 1988.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay with us. Our landscapers work hard everyday to keep our groups beautifully landscaped so that our guests can enjoy the views during their stay. I am thrilled to hear that all of our staff were attentive and ensured that your stay with us was an enjoyable one and took the take to wish you farewell. We most certainly have guests whom have been returning year after year to our property. We certainly hope to welcome you back to our hotel in the near future. Do have a lovely week.

Sugar Bay is ideal, if you want a holiday home that is simple but nice. Ticked all the boxes two bathrooms three pools and on the strip by Frigate Bay.

Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: Needs to be renovated
This hotel is very runned down. However, the beds were comfortable.

Sugar Bay

Posted Jan 3, 2018 on Orbitz
Pros: Location and the room we were in had a little kitchen area that was very convenient. The room rate was also very reasonable
Cons: The rooms need a little updating as well as the grounds and the property as a whole
Location: Lots of different restaurants near by - from Indian to Japanese. Walking distance to the Beach, the hotel itself has two adult & Kiddy pools.
The location of this hotel is great and the room rate was very reasonable- walking distance to beaches, restaurants, supermarket and other activities. The rooms are okay but overall the hotel could do with a little renovation to get the grounds, rooms and buildings up to the standard of the area.

Enjoyed our stay

Posted Dec 20, 2017 on Hotels
The resort is under a lot of construction and by the looks of the rooms that are finished, they are beautiful. The older rooms are indeed a bit 'tired', but clean. Both pool areas are lovely and the landscape is well kept. Location is great. Can get to everything you need on foot. My husband was conducting business and the Wi-Fi was fine...even with Skype!

Sugar Bay Resort

Posted Dec 3, 2017
Pros: Staff, grounds and pools were nice.
Cons: Get rid of ants and do not just paint over the mold.
Location: There was several shops and restaurants near by. Could not swim off the beach because of strong currents. Caribbean near by but busy
Under construction. Stayed in a room that had not been renovated. Ants and mold where a problem. May be better once they finish the remodel. The staff was pleasant and grounds were well maintained.

My St. Kitts vacatio.

Posted Nov 21, 2017
First let me start by the situation when I arrived. They cancelled my reservation! I traveled from NYC. The manager found me a room. The room was old and dated. There was mold in bathroom and insects in the kitchen and bathroom. I didn't have a choice of moving to another room because they were booked up. The hotel location is good. Restaurants near by. The staff was friendly. I would not recommend this hotel unless they do up grades.
