Checking in was difficult. Even though I had booked online and had a reservation number, the clerk somehow managed to pull up my info from a job I had over 10 years ago. Later that evening, I checked my bank account to find that the room charge had been debited twice. When we questioned the front desk about it, we were assured that it had only been run once, and they gave me a receipt showing only one charge.
The following morning I checked at the front desk regarding the charge and was again told it had only been run once and received another receipt.
I logged into my bank account this morning to find that there were two debits and a pending credit. Why does the documentation from the hotel not show the two charges when they are definitely reflected in my account?
