Room 713
The window view of Room 713 is blocked by the lift structure visually. I was told by the front desk staff that there is no other rooms available on that night of our arrival on 22 September. We have to bear with the "no window view" until we check out of the hotel. This is the second time we stay at Pacific Palace Hotel and will be the last time. It is confusing that I have reserved 4 rooms online at a month ago and fully paid, so the hotel management failed to arrange a better room for us. The hotel staff told me that I should find out in my own capacity about the living condition of Room 713 before booking online. Please tell me how the hell should I know i have been allotted to Room 713 and also the living condition of Room 713 where my source of information comes only from the illustrations of the hotel website? Should not the hotel management be responsible in looking at Room 713 and other rooms affected by the lift structures?

Room 713
This is our second time staying at Pacific Palace Hotel. I recommended this hotel to my friends as we will be visiting Batam again on the weekend of 22 - 23 September. So a month ago, I booked 4 rooms for the group. On arrival, we were told by the counter staff that Room 713's window is visually blocked by the lift structure. So my colleague who stayed in that room has to shut down the window at all time. We asked for a change of room but was told that all rooms were taken up. Can the hotel management look into this issue of Room 713 and all other vertical and corresponding rooms? It was a killing joy for guests who have to put up with such living conditions. This will be the last time we are staying at Pacific Palace Hotel.

2Day1Nite Stay
Design of the hotel unique, like staying on a cruise ship. Conveniently located near Seafood restaurants and shopping mall. Room is dated though but clean. The kerb near the shower area is too low and water is splashing out to the toilet bowl area when showering. Just a note, the air in the room is a bit stale would be good if there's room freshner. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are spacious very near to ferry terminal by car within.3 mins but nothing much at surrounding area... no 711 if yes have to walk around 20mins to the nearest shop..

Value for money stay.
Everything was fine except the swimming pool water is milky and has a salty taste. Could not find the indoor swimming pool as mentioned in the hotel website. Ask the hotel staff but direct me to the outdoor pool. :( Overall the hotel is nice for short stay.

Recepcienist her name start with 'S'(female), she forgot to re-scan our room card key after we extend 1 more night to stay. The staff 'S'(male), did our pedi n meni, the worst experience ever, it was not properly done. He just simply applied the nail color with spoiled product, as we picked the colors we want all spoiled, i think probably the rest of the nail color is spoiled too.

2nd time here, the experience so far has been ok. It is about 5mins walk away from harbourbay ferry terminal which is a plus. I was charged 50,000 to go to the hotel from the terminal, so you are advised to just walk the short distance. Variety of food is ok, not great but definitely better than some hotels in batam. Overall experience was ok. Please note that you must deposit $50 at the counter b4 check in. taxi services provided by the hotel is more expansive then the ones you flag outside

Room - Cabin Pros The room is quite spacious with lots of room space for walking or an addition of a queen size bed Convenient located near harbourbay ferry terminal. Short ride to shopping malls Comes with 3 pillows for a queen size bed Cons Toilet is very small, and conditions of the toilet is not very good with broken hanger. Lighting is very poor for the room Require more cloth hanger in the wardrobe. Air con is weak and it is not digital, have to adjust it using a knob, and at full blast, room is not very cool. Service counter is slow in receiving customers. Queued for 10 mins just to talk to the counter when there is only one person in queue. (One customer service officer at duty...)

Nice hotel close to ferry terminal.
Overall had good experience with staff and our breakfast in the hotel. We stayed in a superior room with quite a spacious bathroom. Upon check in, we were been greeted politely. Except for part that my request not to assigned for corner room have not been met.

Clean & comfortable stay
This is the 5th time I am staying in this hotel. The rooms are big n clean. All are well maintained. Very nice dim sum buffet. The only bad thing is there is only WiFi in the lobby, not in the room. Overall, good stay. Will go back again.

This boat-shaped hotel is noisy: the large swimming pool surrounded by 4 floors of rooms is well used and voices of children screaming echo loudly to the rooms on higher floors, with the pool pumps working for hours on end. The room, bathroom and breakfast room were dark, with poor lighting. Despite efficient and friendly service, breakfast was well stocked on Southeast Asian food, but Western table of the buffet was minimal, with crusty bread frozen one day, soggy the next.

The chinese restaurant only operate on weekend. Lucky there is a foodcourt just outside the hotel. Within the hotel, there is a man spa (octupuss), a massage area, just outside swimming pool. The breakfast was disappointing. When u go out ie nagoya hill. Do not take the hotel taxi services, super expensive. Just walk out of the hotel. Plenty of ppl willing to ferry u at half the price.
