"My family enjoyed this location. While a bit out of city center, it was quieter and less crowded, and beautiful. The two tram lines right by the hotel could quickly take us either to central station or more leisurely path to the museum area. The neighborhood has nice restaurants, and a beautiful canal for evening walks, playgrounds nearby, as well as several convenient supermarkets and stores."

"In short, next time we are in Amsterdam, we have every intention of staying here again! We loved our time here and were very pleased with our decision. The included breakfast was expansive and delicious. The bed was great! They had an extra comforter for my wife's side to make it softer and then my side without the extra bit was perfect for me. The room was super quiet and the balcony had a nice view of the water. On top of all this, one of the staff, Tess, made so much time for us it was amazing! She took the time to give us a bunch of restaurant recomendations as well as to discuss Dutch culture. She even gave us a kind note and gift on our last day. She is a gem and the hotel made a great decision in hiring her! Oh, and they let us check in early, and check out wasn't until 12pm. This hotel is excellent in every way!"

"The suite we had, included a combo mini washer/dryer (just googled how to use it), along with small dishwasher. They provide basic utensils, dishwashing tabs, detergent tabs. In the basement there is also luggage storage, separated washer, dryers (free). You can also help yourself to free toilet paper, dish soap, tea, sponge etc in the basement. 5th floor there is a small café that is connected to an outdoor pool, same floor there is a yoga studio for a fee. You need your 6 digit code to get onto your floor wing, and to get into the building or access the basement. Right beside the property there is also a café. It is 15-20 min walk (take footpath bridge as shortcut) to ferry that takes you to grand central station, along that walk there is a grocery store (Albert Haijn)."

"It’s a fabulous property in a quiet suburb close to the train station and only four minutes to Amsterdam Centraal. A calmer experience than the heart of Amsterdam (and cheaper too) but you don’t feel disconnected from the city either."
