"Stayed in a row in the basement (4 bed quad), the bathroom and showers had a musty smell to the point the hallway bathrooms and showers were bigger and nicer. Rooms are ok considering the price you are paying, be aware it might be on the tighter space so opening and packing luggage may be difficult. Highlights of the place are cold & hot water fountains, foosball table, nightly events & lots of open seating to socialize or for a change of scenery. Location is pretty great, only a quick 5 min ferry ride from Amsterdam Centraal (the ferry is very frequent - every 5 mins and runs 24/7). Rooms have AC but can still run warm as it’s not that strong. Laundry is available on the 1st floor for €5 per machine (so €10 for both wash and dry). Beware that towels aren’t provided but they can be rented for €6."

"My trip was 12 days in total. I went to Stockholm in the middle of my trip since the air tickets were to and from Amsterdam. So I stayed in Movenpick Hotel for 2 periods of time. First of all the hotel is located near Amsterdam Central Station. For me it’s convenient to go anywhere by train or bus. Second, they have 3rd-party services in their lobby: like Canal Cruise, City walk or anything you want to do on your trip. You can arrange everything at the hotel. Third, we stored our big luggage in the hotel on our Stockholm trip. Free of charge We got greeted by the staff when we checked in again and got a better view of room. So very happy to stay in here"
