Very well priced, perfect for the family as there’s a great park and beach across the road, cafes , pizza, fish n chips and IGA 100 metres away , and best of all it’s close and far enough from Batemans bay centre.

My stay at the Araluen was much better than expected. It was very clean, everything was in good order and as a woman staying alone i felt safe. I heard no noise, even from the fair right across the road. The pool was lovely and had some privacy, not over looking the road as many do these days. Very good experience overall. Thank you Araluen.

Hi Hermoine, I did call you asking you to remove this review as you have confused us with a different motel. During our phone call you agreed you were wrong as you stayed in one of our kitchenettes! Our Executive rooms do not have coffee machines and we rate highly with cleanliness. I'd appreciate you changing this review as I'm being penalised unnecessarily.

A really nice place to stay.
A very pleasant stay in this well maintained motel. Room was large, bed comfortable and all very clean. Bathroom was a bit on the small side but otherwise everything else was fine. Would definitely stay here again.

However, we do have a small guest laundry onsite for convenience of travellers. The property is nice, cleaning and very convenient for stay. The room size is also good enough, particularly, Julie, the manager, is very friendly and nice. Actually, we booked Araluen Motor Lodge twice. When we were on our way to Batemans Bay, we stopped in Kiama for rest, and when we were ready to continue, we find that our car was missing. We called Julie for cancel our reservation (booked through expedia), while the free cancelation date was expired. Two days later, we found our car with help of local police, and we booked this Motor again and stayed for one night. One week later, when we got home, we found Julie has refund our first (booking) payment. We do appreciate her friendly and professional qualities, and I believe that like us, everyone will have a good experience, when you stay in Araluen Motor Lodge.

Great motel, convenient and comfortable. Very friendly staff. The bathroom was kind of small for the average person, but we managed. Would just suggest to place hooks on the back of the bathroom door to help with space.

Simple but comfortable motel style accommodation with the added bonus of a small pool. The motel is in an excellent location, close but not too close to the main town, plenty of conveniences, nearby to a great park for kids, good beaches and beautiful coastal scenery.

Excellent central location. Carnival was just across the road. Had a great steak house out front for dinner and crumb cafe a few minutes walk away was delicious for breakfast. Room was quiet, clean and contained modern updated fittings and bathroom. A great last minute find for a night a away.
