Staff were lovely. Room was better than expected with good toiletries and extras. Great facilities and location was wonderful for exploring Bath, I was able to walk to most places.

If you are driving a car, please know that you will have to park off site and have about a 6 min walk down to the hotel. We arrived at night in the rain so this wasn't the best surprise however I believe most hotels in town have a similar issue, no on site parking. The desk staff was not the most friendliest of the hotels we stayed at on our vacation so that was a bit disappointing. The pool and spa area is a great amenity, you do need to have a reservation so plan accordingly. The pool temp is just a degree or so above body temp, would have been nice if it was a bit warmer. The heated tile loungers were amazing so don't miss those! We did not get great rest here do to a party that the local seagulls started around 4:30am. The windows were clearly not very well sound insulated and the seagulls clearly had a favorite spot that then echoed through the courtyard. I'd try for a room with windows facing the street because they were very loud! Location was good and walkable to most places of interest.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Right in the city centre and only a 2 minutes walk away from the main sights. The room we booked was nice and spacious and had 2 double beds. One of the bed sheets was stained though, so we decided to sleep in the clean bed. The breakfast was lovely. Everything was cooked fresh and even though the kitchen mixed up a few things (items were on the plate we didn't ask for due to allergies), the very friendly staff in the restaurant managed to change this around. The staff at the reception desk however, seemed to be not as welcoming. The check in was done within 2 minutes (which is nice an quick), but we had to ask for every little detail regarding the stay ourselves, starting with "where are the lifts". We weren't given many information and every time you walked into the hotel, the "welcoming feeling" wasn't there. We would probably stay again, since the location is unbeatable.

The check-in was delayed and the reception staff were overwhelmed. The bar did not feel welcoming, but rather than an airport bar when people sit with all of their bags waiting

The pool was great. The sleep was not because of the dust in the rooms as myself and partner have bad allergies. It was not worth the money. The view we had was rough.
