COMFORTABLE HOTEL CLOSE TO CITY CENTRE

Posted May 3, 2017
Pros: Everything we wished for was included, security good and unobtrusive, good safe parking and our car never moved from the carpark. Décor was excellent
Cons: Garden could have been better cared for but this is underway
Location: Located ten minutes walk from the jewels of Bath; Pump Room, Abbey, Roman Baths, quality restaurants, museums and galleries, parks and architecture
Oldfields Hotel is perfectly situated within 10 minutes walk from the city centre - our rooms were recently refurbished and were very comfortable and well equipped. Wonderful breakfasts served by polite and obliging staff. A hotel to be recommended.

Wonder full B&B, wonderful staff

Posted Apr 30, 2017
Pros: It's cleanliness, its professional staff, its breakfast.
Cons: Advise new customers by email that if they are not driving, a bus is available. I'm 86, and the walk up the hill was tiring.
Location: The hill is not distant from Bath center. Took a tour of the Cotswolds in a mini bus that started from an area not far from the bus station.
This is an upper-grade b&b, because of its staff and its condition. The breakfast was excellent, the room was large and clean. The b&b is on a hill, and a #3 bus originating in the bus terminal in Bath will stop a short distance higher on the hill than the entrance to Oldfields. Trip costs one pound.

The B&B was fine I don't think it was worth £125 for the room we got in was in the basement part of the b&b I was not asked if I had mobile problems which I do and found the stairs a bit of a hassel haveing said that it does have a door outside on that level however it is lock at certain times, the room was clean the bed was comfortable there breakfast was brillent the service at breakfast was friendly, I would stay there again but in a more suited room

A Bath hotel

Posted Apr 21, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel was conveniently situated, very clean and comfortable, and the staff very friendly. A couple of light bulbs that were not working seemed to be something of an issue but overall very good value for money.

Walking distance to town center

Posted Apr 19, 2017
Hotel entrance is precariously situated, just a caution. It has very small parking lot that forces you to reverse out of the lot onto the main road. The room is very nice and the breakfast area and offerings are superb. E

Good morning, Thank you very much for your feedback and for your kind words. We are happy to hear that breakfast suited your taste and your stay with us was comfortable. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything parking wise, but we do offer parking permits as well if needed, in order for our guests to park just along the road to us. We are looking forward to your next visit to Bath. Kind regards, Vasilica Gosman- Reception Team

Very Close to the town of Bath

Posted Apr 10, 2017
Pros: Very close to Bath
Location: Just a 10-15 min walk down to bath. Great opportunity for visiting the Roman baths, pump house for tea, and the mineral springs spa.
We had a great stay. Comfortable rooms with separate toilets and showers. Exceptional Full English breakfast. They were able to accommodate a gluten-free breakfast with prior notification.
