It’s a shame that the restaurant is not open on a Friday and Saturday

Thanks for your feedback and review Lesley. The owners have had this policy for quite some time due to the low demand on weekends as most people are going to events or functions. It wasn't economical to open the restaurant for 1 or 2 people. We appreciate your feedback however and will pass on to the owner. Thank you for staying with us and we are glad you enjoyed it.

The room was very old and needs renovating the bathroom looks horrible and very old wouldn’t stay there again. Too expensive and a very small room.

We are not sure whether you are reviewing the right property. None of our rooms fit the description you are trying to portray. They are all a good size and very well appointed, and priced accordingly in line with the market.

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately it isn't always easy to get staffing for the days we like, and our chef is available Mon to Thurs nights each week. There are however, many great establishments in Bathurst on weekends where you can still enjoy great food, or have it delivered.

The toilet seat was not attached on one side and as such moved around a lot. The cistern itself was very old and the plastic was starting to break down. As one of the more expensive motels in Bathurst, I find this unexceptionable.

Room was clean and spacious. However the internet login didn't work, we didn't have enough hot water to fill the bath and the TV didn't have any HD channels. The restaurant is only open Monday to Thursday which was disappointing. We tried to phone reception at 6.30pm about internet etc. and we got a message to say they were only open till 8pm....despite numerous attempts, noone answered.

The family room we booked was immaculate. I booked whilst travelling in from Dubbo and it was cool, spotlessly clean, and ready for us when we arrived. We came in late and the staff were quick in getting us weary travellers in and settled.

This place is tired and has no real customer service at all. Like a number of places post-covid, they have no facilities to eat and drink open. However there is nothing, no vending machine, no mini bar except for 2 cans of coke in the fridge. They basically just pull the covers back on the bed everyday and I had a pillow that fell on the fall on the Monday and it was put back on the bed Thursday. I can't see myself staying there again and for $200 odd per night there's no real value.

Noise level from the roads was very high and continued through out the night, this was not the fault of the Motel, it was my fault for choosing this Motel. The heater was sufficient at heating the room but noisy and should be replaced. I could not sleep with it on and therefore l was cold during the night even with the extra blanket on, an electric blanket would have been good.

We booked for 2 nights in anticipation of having some friends over for dinner, only to find that the Restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Also, there was no information in the room (including breakfast menu’s) and upon leaving on the Sunday morning we noticed breakfast being served to another room - very disappointed ! We will not book there again - even though we will be travelling to Bathurst 4 more times this year.
