I stayed for 4 nights, arrived on a Monday and left on a Friday. I did not receive ANY house cleaning at all. I had to call to request towels, but none arrived. So, everyday, I had to walk to the front desk to request towels. Disgusting service.

Just needed a place to stay for the eclipse the next day. Didn't need anything special, an when you're looking for basic, you go to a place like Comfort Inn lol

There was no front desk clerk when i arrived, just a note saying they would be back and a number to call. Tried calling nobody answered. When I finally got ahold of someone they said check in was only at 3...it was 239pm and i had driven over 3 hours to spend time with my mother who was in the local hospital. The girl told me my particular room was not ready and they had no others ready. I was the only car in the parking lot. On the morning of checkout a young man came to my door to ask me when I was leaving, this was hours before checkout deadline. Horrible experience, would never stay there again and no offer to get a discount.

The room and the bathroom was dirty. It's a beautiful place in general, with stores and food around. The bed was comfortable. The sheets were dirty, and the toilet and the bath weren't clean. The bathroom floors were dirty.

The motel was close to amenities that we needed but some of the hallways were dirty for the 2 days we were there. I thought someone would have cleaned them when doing the rooms. The breakfast was nice but the coffee was only luke warm. The staff was good. When we arrived I took my confirmation with me and the girl did not have us registered (it looked like) because she had to go and ask another person. After that it was okay.

staff was nice. but took over 40 minutes in long line up to get registered. got the room damped, small tv attached to wall (could net even watch it facing wrong way!!!), 1hour later found the floor soaked from the a/c and call front desk, was told they would look next day. 11PM same day front desk call to offer other room (sleeping) no apologies or discount. will think twice before going back.

Awful stay! Rooms stinks of a horrible odour, dirty dusty room, no tv remote, no curtains that actually close, side door to hotel not secure. Don’t feel safe and would not stay here again!! Especially at $258 per night. Also if I would have booked directly with hotel it would have only cost me $190 I give this hotel negative 1 star!!!

Walked into lobby with recycle bins catching leaks from the ceiling. Showed up at check in time and room wasn’t ready. Came back two hours later…. I think our room still wasn’t ready but they put us in another room. Arrived in room to a musty smell. Went to put food on fridge… water on all the shelves from melted freezer as it had been unplugged.

Check-in is supposed to be at 3 PM, but the rooms weren’t ready at three. So a line built up waiting for their check in. So it took a long time to check in. The air conditioner dripped all night into a bucket, there was a towel in the bucket to dampen the sound, but still made a pretty loud, splashing noise all night. I don’t think I’d stay there again.

The air conditioner didn’t work and the temperature was 24 degrees in the room all night, on a hot summer night. The shower didn’t work and the room had garbage on the rug when we first arrived that we had to pick up. Would not stay here again

What was very disappointing was the lack of water pressure for shower. After 10 hours driving, it's nice to have an invigorating shower to wake up a bit. Room a bit musty smell, no surprise given summer conditions. Given the price point, there's others around so will check them out next time.

I enjoyed being within walking distance of many resturants. I didn't enjoy the many problems I had with unlocking the door to my room...The noise factor in the hallway from other guests was at times annoying. The staff was polite, helpful and very welcoming. I would recommend Comfort Inn to those traveling to Bathurst.
