Very disappointingPosted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: The location. It is really close to Target and a lot of restaurants.
Cons: The rooms need to be updated and they need a better breakfast selection. Maybe extend the breakfast time to 10.
Location: We were there for an LSU game and this place is right off the interstate and it was not too far from the campus.
Room didn't smell bad but there was a dead roach on top of the air condition. The wall in the bathroom and the door needed some cleaning. The place is old and needs to be remodeled really bad. We were just coming in town and needed a place to lay our heads, but we wanted somewhere that had a breakfast. When we got to the lobby everything was gone. By everything, I mean the bread for toast, the fruit and even the cups for juice and coffee. There was no waffle maker or yogurt. There was only cereal. I did pay $90 and booked 2 rooms so the least I could have gotten was breakfast. The place is really rundown. There had been an obvious roof leak above our room. On a positive note, the bed was comfy and the sheets were clean. The water pressure was great and the shower was clean.

Needs updatingPosted Sep 20, 2015
First of all I had to call front desk to get wifi code. Hotel needs to be updated. Alot of people running up and down walkways making lots of noise at 2-3 o'clock in the morning. Very little selection for breakfast. Will not stay here again.

Excellent ExperiencePosted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: The bed was really comfortable. The lady at the front was polite and informative, also I got a discount. Free wifi and continental breakfast
Cons: The swimming pool towels were rough against the skin a bit.
Location: Blue Bayou and Mall of Louisiana are 5min off the freeway. Walmart and a Target nearby in case flip flops or swimsuits need to be replaced/bought.
Overall it was a great hotel. It's located close to a lot of places (Target, Walmart, gas stations, restaurants, the 10 Fwy). The restaurants are within 5 minutes driving distance, and a couple of quick fast food places are within walking distance. My room was clean, no problems with that at all. The bed was comfy and they had free wifi included. I had a discount with AAA too. The pool was great too, it goes up to 6 feet and has a jacuzzi right next to it. They provide swimming pool towels, and cold towels in the gym. (They were a little rough, but it was okay, it got the water/sweat off is all that mattered).

worst experience ever!Posted May 28, 2015 on Hotels
We left do not disturb sign on the door but they went in anyway to clean and we had things missing including money. When addressed with manager there was no resolution. I will never stay there again and will tell everyone I know about my experience. Will never recommend them. It was horrible!

Spider webs on the ceiling, chair was dirty and stained, phone in room was broken, internet service was poor, had to share pool with the hotel next door

Close to I10Posted May 26, 2015
But that's about all the positives I can come up with. Luckily I didn't hear loud bar/patron noise as other reviews state. The AC and stairs were extremely loud and it did not feel very safe overall.

Bayou Country Fest WeekendPosted May 26, 2015 on Hotels
It was a one night stay to attend Bayou Country Fest. The neighborhood area left a little to be desired, but the property was clean, well maintained. It was great access on and off I-10 which was a major inventive.

Good hotel, location is idealPosted May 24, 2015
We stayed for only one night -but it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Shower was nice! For a one night stay it was perfect, we were only a 10-15min drive from Jackson square. But we were also close to shopping, restaurants, walmart and other things which was really nice. There was a long wait to check in and that was really our only complaint; but we realize it was just busy. For what we paid this was a great stay.

Hotel ExperiencePosted Jan 1, 2015 on Hotels
the clerk was not very friendly but didn't matter she must just had a bad day. the room was very nice, very clean, and equipped with couch and foot stool for a relaxing moment after a long flight and long standing and too much walking. quiet surrounding inside and outside the hotel and feeling safe at all times. location is very close to well known restaurants and shopping center and very close to the Mall of Louisiana. for the price, the hotel is well worth for it. and it could be just my lucky day for a stay.
