Overall Nice hotel but no security

Pros: The breakfast, my balcony view of the pool, and my room
Cons: SECURITY SECURITY SECURITY! You all need more cameras and you definitely need a night guard!
Location: Easy access to the town center, Mall of Louisianan is not far away, different dining facilities is in walking distance.
My overall stay in the hotel was pleasant enough. The breakfast was great, the "market" had enough items to keep my fridge stocked with a few items necessary. I actually booked this hotel because it was recommend to me by a friend that is a local and has used the hotel before. However on my last night at the hotel 12 cars (including my friends) was broken into. Now I am unsure of how someone/someones would feel comfortable enough to not only break into cars but smash glass and know they can get away with it but they did. They stole items locked in his back boot after popping the boot. This definitely made me feel like there was obviously no security (no night guard) and made me think I probably was not safe in my hotel even though I felt it because I assumed they had security like a hotel would.

I am sorry to hear that your friend's vehicle was broken into. It was an unfortunate event and our entire exit was targeted, with over 8 hotels being affected, some of them with night security. However, due to our cameras and diligence, the person was caught and charges are being pressed. I was told that the BRPD has recovered many items and your friend can reach out to them for more information on recovering items. Comfortable and spacious suite for great price.

Stayed in town for office work party. Jacuzzi tub and kitchen/bar were lovely.

Location excellent but not very clean

Something is off about this place. it has nothing to do with the updates they are making in the lobby. It just is poorly run. We checked in at 4 pm. The front desk had to call housekeeping to confirm our room was ready! Trash was piled outside of entrance to building which wasn't removed until evening-6 or 7 the hallway was no better with sheets and towels and trash in heaps. Our room was ok but smelled odd and felt grimy

Comfortable Hotel

Pros: Spacious king room, free Wi-Fi, breakfast included and close to a good choice of places to eat.
Cons: As mentioned above, just tidy up stairways daily and walkways. People just seem to throw cigarette butts anywhere. Maybe put some sort of butt bins on
Location: No activities other than some retail shops, restaurants and supermarkets.
Conveniently situated. We needed a hotel in that part of Baton Rouge and were happy with our choice. Good value (breakfast included), spacious rooms and free Wi-Fi. Although we did not used the outdoor facilities (pool, basketball court) not the gym, many guests did. Particularly families. Happy with the breakfast buffet. Very happy to have real cutlery, real plates and cloth napkins rather than paper and plastic. The only negative is that staff responsible for passageways don't vacuum daily and it shows. Also, outdoor staff are not too conscientious with the cleanliness of stairways and cigarette butts carelessly thrown from upstairs. It's not a good look and spoils the good inside impression.

Need elevator and knowledgeable desk clerk

Pros: Close to freeway
Cons: Better trained desk staff. Update accommodations.
Room keys would not work. Therefore, I had to wait at the desk again behind four other guests and was told sorry there were no rooms nearby. My daughter was ill, so I had to make two luggage trips back down the stairs, over to another building and then back up the stairs again (twice!). During the luggage trek, we encountered people going into the first room - apparently the front desk clerk gave us keys to a room that was occupied! They were quite upset, too. Musical rooms and luggage shuffling took so long that we missed happy hour and the soup special. (No soup for you!) The following morning, we left before breakfast hours, and were told too bad, nothing available unless we wanted to purchase from gift shop. Overall one of the worst places ever.

This review will be based over last 2 stays at the property. First time I walked in there was a small Oder looked in dishwasher was filled with black water had a few errands to run so I when to the front desk told them about it should be fixed when I get back. Maintenance man only started the dishes washer still had brown water in it when i returned. By the time I returned I pulled the sheets back where I found a Blue finger nail. Made me wonder if the sheets had been clean so I when down got clean sheets. Told the front desk about what had been and and brought the blue finger nail that was in the bed. Was offered a discount on the next time I stayed there. Next stay was not so well either even with the discount. Walk in go to use the restroom there's a towel half in the toilet half out and toilet seat was down. Called front desk asked if there was a reason for that She said no maybe it fell when housekeeping was cleaning I advised her the toilet seat was down The lady then said then I don't know housekeeping needs to get it together she said is everything else ok I said I haven't noticed anything else. I when to the kitchen area just like last stay coffee maker had previous guest coffee leftovers. Trash can had i don't know in it. Previous guest food waste was under microwave. To dirty Air Filters. They was sold out so I was unable to change rooms I was told. Housekeeping was gone for the day.

Gorgeous hotel!

Pros: Drove 8 hours and figured we were getting a normal size room and not a little apartment! It was beautiful! Awesome little bar and breakfast!
Cons: Only complaint we have is there were 2 stains on our comforter. However we knew it was clean because we could smell the detergent. We called the front desk and they didn't have a comforter on han but tons of blankets which worked just fine
