Check in was a little rough - front desk woman seemed be having a bad night, but that happens to everyone at times.
Room was large, beds comfortable, AC worked great, pillows good, shower was fine with a shower head that was positioned so that a 6'0" person didn't have to bend down to wash their hair.
Only problem was the the "blackout" blinds on the window - they were about 1" too short and the even-numbered room was on the east side of the building so the sun came barreling in at 6am. Get an odd-numbered room if you don't want a sunrise wake-up call.
Otherwise, it was a great place and if I ever get stuck having to spend the night in Port Allen/Baton Rouge again, I would certainly stay here.
