Great location near the River Cane Center. Parking lot available at the hote but a $20 daily charge . Area is quiet. At night have few restaurants and bars around. We ate at Cecilia’s around the corner and it was great! There is a nice walkway by the river too easily accessible from hotel .

We really enjoyed being able to walk right out to the river and view the bridge. Also Capitol Grill was within walking distance and was very good for dinner

Everything was okay except for the a/c. It wasn't functioning properly. We had it set on 68 but never reached the set temp. Room humid and on the warm side.

Excellent hotel to stay. The issue is not with the hotel but that downtown Baton Rouge doesn’t have many dining options on the weekend when there are weekend long events going on.

positive- very close to bars and River Center which we were able to walk to watch hockey game. negative- had a used tea bag in our sink and linen has stains on it. Also didn't know there was a hotel code to go to a bar we wanted to go to, just wish they had told us about that prior.

Had to park across the street even tho there’s a whole parking lot. No toilet paper sink was covered in water the sheets had hair all over them like they haven’t been changed. Then I got charged a $13 fee but they can’t explain where it came from even tho I have a receipt and that charge isn’t on there.

I wish we could have had an opportunity to make it right during your stay with us.I would also like to apologize for the miscommunication at check-in regarding our parking policy. The 13.26 that was charged to your card for your stay was for the garage parking which is across the street. This should've been explained to upon your check-in and when you later inquired about it. Again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. My hope is the next time you are in the area, you will give us another chance to provide the guest experience we strive to deliver.

Staff ist very friendly and helpful. The AC is pretty annoying and does not react to control input, such as lowering the vent. Breakfast is business standard, nothing to be proud of. Coffee is quite good though.

The bed nearest the window in 727 the foundation of the bed was broken, we’d been traveling all day and were too tired to move. Being there for a graduation our time was tight, and we stayed busy. The bed was a huge problem

Where to start... 1. Cleanliness...Room was dirty. Dirt and smudges on all the walls that could easily be wiped off. Curtains had layers of diet and filth at the bottoms of them. Hair from previous guests in tub, sink and toilet. Drawers had dust and worse, red sticky stuff that kept my family living out of suitcases. 2. PTAC (a/c)...Control was on the wall. Panel was dead. No batteries in the unit. Fixed, but panel still didnt work. Able to adjust temp on unit, but that failed during the night. Room was hot and stuffy. No fix. 3. Linens...Didnt have enough. Thankfully front desk fixed issue and brought more. 4. Disrepair...Closet was unusable. They put a makeshift door up, but because it was made for a large doorway, you could only open it about 12 inches on either side, rendering the closet unsuable. Maintenance room shared a wall with our room. There was an alarm that was never silenced allday and all night for.thr three days we.were there. Stairwell had lighting that was out going to the first floor.

Really enjoyed the stay. Balcony space was worth it. Fitness center was closed, but looks like they were renovating. Overall experience was great.
