This hotel was extremely dated with poor service. The room service was incorrect and cold. The valet was not very welcoming.

Clean and comfortable room

upon arrival several buses were taking up all of the parking spaces for check in, Hilton valet directed me to a parking spot while checking in...30 minutes later I return to find a boot and a note on my car stating I had to pay the hotel across the street $50. The front desk personnel had been so unfriendly at check in that I didn't even bother trying to get reimbursed for the parking fiasco. The hotel is very nice, the room was comortable and clean, the only problem with this hotel was the unfriendly desk personnel.

No hot water for my shower at 9 am in the morning.

I am a Gold member and booked this trip through a 3rd party, as it was a last minute meeting. Staff treated me very rude, and I didn’t feel like a Hilton honors customer one bit. I would NEVER stay there again. Not even for free.

Old and not maintainrd

Hot water did not work in shower, phones did not dial to valet, room service, etc., and room was not clean in all aspects i.e. shower, bed, bathroom. The hotel bar was the only positive quality.

Great location downtown

Awesome stay for the Spanish Town parade. Great location for viewing the parade, great restaurants and fun niight life!

It was kind of noisy

Pros: Location was perfect.
Cons: Our toilet ran and make a continuous gurgling noise.
Location: The parade went right passed the hotel and the Mississippi River was one block away!
It was the start of the Mardi Gras parades, but the noise in the hallways and the party in the ballroom above our room may have been a bit much.

Perfect downtown hotel.

Pros: Being close to everything.
Cons: Found a bug
Location: At the heart of Baton Rouge.
Right off the Mississippi River and close to everything.

Very nice and clean hotel, however the pool deck was under construction and was not disclosed upon booking. My room’s view was construction equipment and not the view of the river that was stated. Disappointing

Pretty lobby and exterior

Room was clean, bathtub was old and chipped new was of vacant property with homeless people using it as their restroom. Needless to say not the view i was expecting for the price.
