Has one small issue with toilet paper holder falling off wall. Brought to their attention and taken care of. Staff was very nice and communicative. Will stay here again.

Bathroom was run down and hardware all mismached or broken. Not something tou would expect in a hilton. Got back second night room was somewhat cleaned but no towels.at all. Even took the clean ones we had not used. They did send some up promptly. Living area was ok nothing special.

My vehicle was broken into and 3,500 worth of merchandise was stolen while in the care of the valet. Also- fire alarm went off multiple times. So if you want a safe and relaxing place to stay - I WOULD NOT recommend the Hilton capitol city. Hotel refused refund. Will never return.
Our stay at the Hilton downtown was great. The employees at the Hilton were so kind and helpful. We were really annoying guests having 2 dogs with us, 1 of them being special needs (18y old) and a bunch of luggage because we were there for a wedding. They always opened the doors for us and helped us load and unload our car. They had security at the front door until around 12am every night so it felt safe taking the pups potty at night. I would definitely recommend. There is also a beautiful patio on the 3rd floor that we stayed on, it overlooks the Mississippi.

Clean and comfortable. About bedtime or after (after 1:00 a.m. to be more precise) the thermostat went out and we were not able to adjust the temperature for the room which was a little cold with the cold weather out. They offered by text to come look at it but we were all already in bed and had to get up early. No other complaints other than this. Great staff, clean and comfy beds ( doubles not queens as i had booked but they were comfortable and worked)

Great location, awesome staff, all extremely nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel is in desperate need for a renovation, as the carpet in my room was torn and some furniture with chips and missing pieces at stand, meaning that maintenance has been missing its touch. If they do renovations in rooms, this would be a great hotel to stay.

Pros: it’s a nice hotel and lobby. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location. The bed was comfy.
Cons: there isn’t much street parking around, so you really need to valet for $37 a night. A handicapped parking tag was stollen out of our glove box when the car was valeted. We also got our car back smelling like weed. The manager says they will be addressing both issues with the valet personnel, but we still left without a needed handicapped tag. We decided to street park the second night.

1) They would not check us in on the time listed. We had to wait an hour with no apology or explanation.
2) I paid for a king size bed and they gave me a queen
3) The sink was full of hair from the previous tenants.

Hotel is average-rooms outdated and furniture all banged up-we didn’t have hot water. When called down to manager on duty she seemed annoyed that I called to complain about having to take a cold shower along with my daughter. Asked if she could refund us some of our stay and she offered to comp our parking for one night $40 when staying at a Hilton I expect more from a facility like this and to make ot right if it’s not up to par. Disappointed Hilton .

Having a special weekend planned, the staff was incredibly helpful. From Ethan driving the shuttle and helping bring flower arrangements to the room, to Adonis at the desk checking in and helping with my special arrangements. Then Sonnisha assisting with our special requests. The valets were great as well.
Overall, the staff played a very helpful role in helping make this weekend an incredible success!!

The hotel was built in 1927, I doubt it had any renovation since then. Shame to Hilton for such a property.

The whole house was excellent! The neighborhood was quiet and very peaceful. Our host was great. She made sure everything was covered before we arrived and communicated with us during our stay. Property was relatively close to LSU which was our purpose in staying there. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The only negatives were the exorbitant parking fee and the rooms were small and outdated.
