Helpful Staff

Pros: Staff was very friendly and you could always find someone.
Cons: Our Air conditioner was leaking condensation all over the carpet & the carpets in general were dirty. Downstairs ladys room soap dispenser didn't work
Location: I wish we knew about the bridge traffic. A lot of our events were in Baton Rouge and it took 30 minutes one day to cross making us late.
We just had 4 night stay for a family wedding and were overall pleased with our stay largely due to an attentive and friendly staff. The room was clean, we were always greeted with smiles. Our beds and towels were freshened daily making it nice to come home to. We were a family of 4 and found the breakfast options plentiful for a complimentary breakfast, and the lobby/dining room was comfortable. I used the gym while there and it was okay, the room seemed hotter than the rest of the hotel, but the equipment worked for me. We were hoping to use the pool but it wasn't so inviting.

Thank you for informing us of your recent stay. The capital traffics is pretty congested during particular times of the day using the bridge. In reviewing your comments we still some improves we need to work on regarding room upkeep with maintenance and pool presentation. We do intend to discuss methods of improvements to better serve and accommodate our guest. Thank you for your feedback.

Front desk woman was purposely rude.

But the room, pool, and breakfast were fantastic. In my opinion the woman who worked the front desk the night of 4/21/16 should be fired. She was short with me, acting as if i was a bother, she did not have answers to basic questions (i.e. what is the wifi password) furthermore She hung up on my wife twice and refused to let us speak to a manager to resolve a billing issue. All other high marks mean nothing when an employee treats customers in this manner. Hospitality should be hospital.

Chris, Sorry for the delay in response, however I wanted to take this time out to address you concerns. There is absolutely no excuse for poor service and is not tolerated at our location. Every team member is screened and ask to make a pledge upon hiring to do and provide their best with a smile and this team member fell short and I apologize on behalf of Holiday Inn Express. The team member has undergone some additional training and coaching on customer service with positive results. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us!

Hotel was a stopover stay for one night on return trip to Houston. Nice, quiet clean hotel & room. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast.

Excellent Stay.

Everything was excellent. Our only complaint is the indoor pool was green so we did not use it. Staff was courteous and always helpful.

However rest assure we have a weekly service company managing the pool and a water test daily to avoid any future inconvenience moving forward to our guest.
