Comfortable Hotel

Awesome experience. I made a reservation using the wrong date. This could have been a disaster. However, the admitting clerk quickly resolved the issue by placing in the correct dates. Awesome customer experience!!!!

Dirty hotel

Pros: there was nothing at this hotel that I was impressed with.. will not stay there again.
Cons: The cleanness of the hotel was horrible.. my bathroom floor had not been clean up my arrival. the floor was disgusting..
Location: Ate at Hooters was not that good..

Disappointed in this hotel and expedia experience.

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice.
Cons: After the first night's stay, when the room was serviced, the coffee supplies were not replenished and the bed linen was not changed.
Location: The location was nice. The hotel is close to the interstate,a shopping mall, and has a large number of restaurants and other businesses.
The hotel itself was okay. There were a couple of issues. The shower head did not function well. Housekeeping failed to replenish the coffee supplies in the room and did not change the bed linen. Overall the staff were friendly. We hoped to cancel the reservation, but were not allowed to do so. I understand that there would be a cancellation policy, but there were extenuating circumstances. We made the reservation at the last minute because of a death in the family. We live in Atlanta, and usually stay with my sister, but were not able to arrange that before hand, so we made the hotel reservation, booking through AARP via Expedia. Upon arrival in Baton Rouge we found we could stay with another relative, so we asked to cancel the reservation. We were told there would be a one night fee. So we asked if we could stay the first night and just cancel the second night of the reservation. We were told the fee would still apply. Essentially, we forced to stay both nights at the hotel or forfeit one night's fees. The hotel said this was expedia's policy, expedia says it's the hotel's policy. Either way, under the circumstances, it sucks.

First and Last stay

Great location. Near great food and shopping.Elevator and hall smells. Dingy towels and sheets. Hair in tub and sink. FILTHY carpet. Dust everywhere. Housekeeping needs to be addressed. Staff seemed friendly, but I wont be returning.
