We tried to call room service but no one would pick up, so we called the front desk and they said that room service and the restaurants had closed 3 hours early because they hadn’t been busy. When we went to the front desk to ask them about restaurants around and other hotel amenities they brushed us off and didn’t really want to give any suggestions and seemed like they were in a hurry. It kind of felt more like staying at a fancy looking motel 6 than a hotel with any stars. We asked for an extra bath towel and the extra bath towel had holes in it and had been torn to shreds. The elevator to the hotel room smelled like marijuana, like some one had smoked a significant amount in it. I’ve stayed at the same casino hotel at Lake Charles and it was completely different. The staff at Lake Charles were more like a stared hotel staff and the over all casino was also nicer with more amenities, room service, and restaurants open late. Here the only thing open was a subsection of a restaurant that you can only get to from the casino that only has hamburgers. For the price and for overall experience I would recommend either the lake Charles branch or a different hotel and casino. Definitely not worth the money and the stars need to be re-evaluated based on the staff and actual amenities available. Feel like I wasted my time and money going there.

Very nice hotel. The only problem was the guy at the check in counter. He barely spoke to me and didn’t really seem to want to answer any questions either. We had to ask house keeping what time check out was and he told me to insert my debit card and charged me $50 and never even told me why. The restaurant downstairs is good but the staff was EXTREMELY slow. We only got drinks and a pizza and were in there for 2 hours because everything took forever. And there was only a few customers in there and lots of staff so I’m not sure what they were doing. But the food was good. The staff in the casino were friendly and helpful.

Wonderful room. Its a shame we couldnt dine at other resturant due to aged children.

Clean but RUDE Staff!

Super clean and nice rooms. But thats where nice ends! Front desk was RUDE, useless, bothered and lazy. Waited 3 hours on a blanket. Food over priced and nasty, didnt refill coffee, towels or tp. So much more too!

Unexpected Luxury in Unexpected Location

Wowed from the moment we parked in the self-parking garage! Beautiful hotel, clean, modern, and classy. Bath robe, mirror on mirror TV in the spacious bathroom and super comfortable bed. Casino has every kind of game and a variety of eateries. Excellent anf friendly Staff.

The hotel is nice and rooms were very clean. The staff was very respectful and helpful. The hotel did not have much to offer for recreation
