Great 1 night Stay!

I've stayed here before and they were renovating the first time, but it was still very nice. I came back this time and they were still having some work done but they had finished the front area, and it came together very nicely!! Everything and everyone was very nice and helpful and everything was done in a timely manner, I would definitely stay here again!

We stopped overnight on our way to Texas and was traveling with pets. Hotel is nice and clean. They are remodeling due to flooding so a lot of work was being done to the interior of the hotel. The staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay again when traveling with our fur babies.

Great spot!

I was only staying for 1 night so it was perfect! Nice size room with a great KING bed! The only thing I had a problem with was they didn't say online that they were renovating because of the flood early this year, so that morning I was awakened by sawing and banging, but check out wasn't until 12 so I was able to go back to sleep for a good bit. Overall it's was great! Also because of renovations, their breakfast is just coffee and muffins.

Not as advertised

When I checked in I was informed that they no longer provide breakfast as advertised. When I asked where I could get breakfast (there are no restaurants near the hotel) I received a shrug. I was able to find a place to eat about a mile away. There was also a strange odor in the lobby.

Pros: The fresh, clean smell. The cleanliness.
Location: It is located near Ochsner Hospital in Baton Rouge. Convenient for us. We were there for a relative's surgery.
I would definitely recommend the LaQuinta. Immediately upon entering the facility had a fresh, clean smell. It was a very clean facility. The staff was very personable about our stay and was very friendly. We will definitely be staying at the LaQuinta again.

Worth the price and also great breakfast. Good clean room and close to amenities. Will stay again if in the area.

nice hotel

Pros: Room was comfortable
Cons: Housekeeping staff. If a guest has a do not disturb sign on the door when you come to clean, CHECK BACK LATER.
We've stayed here before with excellent results; however, this time our room did not get made up, which was an unpleasant surprise when we returned after being out the entire day. I complained to the front desk - their paperwork showed that we had the do not disturb sign showing when they came by at 9:00, but we left and removed the sign at 9:30 and they never came back to check. The excuse was that the manager was not there that day so housekeeping slacked off! At least the desk clerk was honest, but that is totally unacceptable. IF I stay here again I will request at the front desk that my room be made up when I leave for the day. Otherwise, the hotel itself is very nice - good condition, rooms well appointed, breakfast choices satisfactory. The fridge in our room was warm and we could not get it colder, but that is a minor thing.
