Nice hotel comfortable room

Due to overbooking of this hotel. I was suggested to go to this hotel. The staff was compassionate due to the fact I just arrived off the road of a very full day. Great stay. : )

Center of Town

Well, when we returned from our event the towels and garbage cans were on left in the middle of the floor. Also, the last day of my stay, I noticed 2 dead roaches in the room. Complete disappointment..

Hotel is run down. Staff did a poor job when we asked for a roll away bed.

Pros: Location.
Cons: It would be great if they could have herds of pigs running through the lobby on the hour.
Location: Good restaurants for breakfast and dinner, especially Another Borken Egg and The Melting Pot.
Just one night. There was constant noise from the traffic on I-10 all night long. The bar was good.

Debit card

They pre authorize our debit card $40 on Saturday. I guess in case we did damage bc room was already paid for. As of now, they have not put the &40 back in my account. We checked out at 945 Sunday.

Old and run down...

Pros: location
Cons: total update and clean
The hotel is old and worn out, tired and smells like an old hotel. Not what i would expect from a Marriott. Which is why i choose it. Bedding was old, not very clean. Sorry i booked there.

Not pleased...!

First room the toilet was broken. The check-in clerk said she could send someone to try and fix it. Of course, I said, NO! I just arrived and I have to deal with this. Switched to a second room...this time the toilet was slow but somewhat functional. My son decided to use the lobby bathroom bc he didn't trust the one in our room. The A/C was not putting out cold air like it should. The room was somewhat hot for awhile before we felt some relief later that night. TWO MAJOR PROBLEMS! I guess while I'm complaining, the hallway on my floor smelled musty and was hot...not fresh at all. If the rooms mirrored the lobby I think my experience would have been much differrent. BTW: I never written a review until now.

Run down, needs a facelift

Not nearly worth the Marriott price tag, nor worthy of their good reputation. Staff was nice, food (breakfast) was good, but room, hallways etc really run down. When we checked in at 8 pm there was a dirty tray outside our neighbors door from room service. When we checked out at 1 pm the next day it was still there. No bottled water in room, not even to buy. No free wifi. Who still pays for wifi!?!?
