nice hotel

I had a very nice stay at the hotel. It was located near everything that I wanted and needed to do. The staff was very polite and friendly. When I got back to the hotel every staff member always said hello or asked how I was doing that day. The room was always clean when I arrived back to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and I know where I’ll be staying on my next visit to Baoto Rouge, it’s the Renaissance

Nice lobby and very friendly staff! The room was clean but the chairs were torn and it wasn’t as clean as I thought it would be! My key card didn’t work and they sent someone to help us right away!

Baton Rouge Renaissance

Cons: Update furniture
In for a one nighter. Check in was fast and easy. Friendly front desk staff and guest services. I didn't have my Marriott reward # to get free internet, but they waived the fee for me. On Expedia website, it says free internet. Only if you are a Marriot Rewards member, if not, you have to sign up, otherwise $10/ day Room was clean, but the furniture needs to be updated. My room had furniture that was all scratched up

Great hotel and find

Everything was fantastic, but the staff initially was not kind during check in process. Did not inform us on hotel amenities or parking or check out etc.

Great stay no problems or issues lively hotel that has a restaurant and bar.. you can also order room service.

Classy Hotel

Pros: The friendly staff and the classy atmosphere.
Cons: Air-conditioning in the rooms on the 10th floor.
Location: The Mall of Louisiana is nearby and plenty restaurants to choose from.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Renaissance Baton Rouge. The only thing was that our room on the 10th floor did not cool so well. The air-conditioning doesn't cool well.

Quiet

It was a great hotel. Very quiet though - I was the only one in the bar area for dinner, the only one in the fitness center, and never saw anyone in the elevators or halls!
