Great stay in Baton Rouge

Pros of this hotel - clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, close to shopping and restaurants, fairly easy to get to, pool, hot tub, good tv channels, full kitchen and homey feel. I added on a day to my stay and there was no problem adding one one. Cons - housekeeping was impossible to get. I called multiple times to get room cleaned and I'd get back to the room and it was still messy, even tho I would call before hand to please have it cleaned while I was out. The times they did come they weren't coming til late afternoon. Another con was the people upstairs above us, we could hear them and it was annoying. Sounded like they were moving furniture or running around. The kitchen was nice to have but not practical. It only had 2 burners very close to each other which made it hard to have more than one pan on and took an hour to cook a simple meal like spaghetti. The pans were shiny silver and everything wanted to burn on them. Flimsy knifes that couldn't cut a potato. Our toilet clogged on night and they didn't have anyone to fix it that night, we had to wait til morning. Overall, my boyfriend and I really loved this hotel and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay at residence inn again.

The overal stay was great everyone at the front desk was very nice and has great hospitality. The only bad thing about the room it was extremely hot, being that we had to stay for two days that was unacceptable. However maintenance came as soon as we called to fix the issue, the room overal was very nice very clean and the house keepers were awesome with cleaning both days. I will defiantly stay here again. The room rate was even reduced because of the air not worker properly. Thanks for the great experience we will be back soon.

There wasn't a room available at the Residence Inn due to maintenance so we were moved next door to their sister company, the Courtyard. The front desk clerks were extremely courteous and made sure we were taken care of. The room next door was extremely comfortable. The bed and pillows were so soft!! The next morning we went next door to eat at our original hotel and the breakfast was amazing!!! The stay was great. I'd definitely stay again!

We stayed in Baton Rouge and traveled back and forth to New Orleans. The staff was welcoming, warm and very helpful

Nice quiet suite of rooms. Wifi good. Bathroom could be cleaner and updated, but it was satisfactory. Plenty of safe, free parking. I'd stay here again.
