Great location

This hotel's rooms are very roomy and well priced. The staff is very professional and friendly. Breakfast was good. Location is very convenient to many locations in Baton Rouge. Bathroom was a little worn looking but absolutely functional. Will definitely stay here again.

The smell

Could not sleep smelt like someone was smoking marijuana in the room above are blow me and it kept coming into our room with my child.

Clean and Convenient

Spur of the moment reservation for a family emergency. Nice place, nice location. Room temperature was a bit hard to control, but otherwise, no problems.

not my fave Springhill

Having come from a Springhill in Dallas, the bar was set pretty high. This hotel seemed dingy, dirty in details, edges, corners, doors and pool area. As I looked at the white tiles marking pool depth, I could see grime above the water line, ewww. I got out of the pool after that. The hot tub jets weren't working. It was out of towels, which might as well have been hand towels when compared the the large, clean towels offered at DFW's Springhill. Our rooms furniture has some laminate glued down,but some is broken off. When I asked about area things to do upon arrival 2 nights ago, I was told, "there's not much really to do in Baton Rouge, just eat". We ventured out today to a plantation and plan to visit a nature preserve tomorrow. The staff was friendly (just not highly knowledgeable) and helpful when requested, but this was really a different Springhill from DFW. Now I should go write them a glowing review.
