Cons: Better WIFI accessibility, better breakfast
Pretty standard for Battle Mountain. AC worked well. Everything else was ok, but nothing was great.

Substandard all the way.

Hotel needs to be upgraded. Carpet throughout were old and tattered. Sofa and chair in room were stained and in need of thorough cleaning or replacement. "Continental breakfast" had minimal options. I guess the "You get what you pay for" mantra works in this case although I still felt a bit cheated.

Hallway internet.

Posted Aug 21, 2014
The internet only worked from the hallway intermittently. The secondary lock on the room door had been broken due to forced entry at some point. Non Smoking room smelled of cigarettes. I would not stay there again.

Nevada's Worst Hotel

Posted Aug 3, 2013
Pros: I made it out alive.
Cons: Everything from room condition to safety.
Location: It's in the middle of nowhere Nevada
America's Best Value Inn in Battle Mountain is truly America's worst value . This hotel was not only dirty, but extremely unsafe. Not only were the outside door locks to the guest building completely destroyed, some of the doors to the rooms were kicked in. The "staff" clearly cared very little about how they presented themselves to guests as well as caring very little about the condition on their business.

This is the second worst hotel in Lake Havasu City. The first being Super 8 motel, then America's Best Value.

Spend the extra money and go to Super 8

Posted Jun 22, 2010
The hotel was not what I was expecting at all. The pool was closed for the season so I had to tell the kids that they could not go swimming. One of the lights in our room would not turn on, you had to turn it on about five times before it would start flickering to start working. My parents room had green stuff in there bathtub and shower, it also got clogged and they had to have it plunged to get it unclogged for the time being. I wish that we would have spent the extra money and stayed at Super 8.
