"The first room (No. 20) that we were placed in was disgusting. There was black mould in one corner of the room, the bathroom door did not close as it was swollen with water, there were burn marks on the sink and half of the shower control was broken. This room should not be used in its present condition. However, after a quick chat with Expedia, we went down to reception and were given another room (no 55) this room was good although there were still burn marks on the sink and floor. Neither of the rooms were soundproofed, the hotel description said they were. It is a very basic hotel probably only suited to an overnight stay. "

"I was there to work at a hospital in La Louviere - cycled along the canal in most days in a mostly traffic free journey. Staff at the hotel were exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful in every area of the hotel - especially in reception. "

"The Utopia hotel is a wonderful gem in the forest near Mons. The front staff is absolutely amazing, courteous, and attentive. The breakfast is €12, and I think it is good value for what you get. The rooms a little bit on the small side, but very clean. I think I gave the four stars, instead of five, because I came back from visiting a friend last night, and the parking lot is very dark. It was raining a lot, and that made it almost spooky to run from my car to the entrance. I wish they would install more lights. Also, be careful, the shower is very, very slippery. Also, I noticed there are no Kleenex, no in room, coffee maker, and no telephone, in case you absolutely have to call the front staff. But I would stay here again, it is comfortable and you have everything you need. Again, the prime staff was exceptional. Thank you so much for all your help. 😀"
