Nice but noisy, opposite waterfront
Posted Dec 31, 2016
We had a nice stay, lovely spot, but is not value for money. They charge top prices and you can hear pretty much everything from upstairs accommodation. Furniture scraping, children running, bathroom noises, not to mention the noise from the pool - children screeching etc. It also has poor security. While you need to use a card to get in, they leave the gate near reception open so is therefore accessible to anyone.
We would not stay there again unless is was a top floor apartment.
The check in staff were aware of the noise, but nothing was done to compensate for this apart from moving us to an equally noisy apartment.
