Double queen room was very spacious with a big window facing the lake. There were several chairs and small table. The sheets and blanket were very comfortable. Shower was clean and plenty hot water. There were some thoughtful details like 3 garbage cans.

We arrived back to our room (which was one of the units up by the road) and it was a cloudy night making it very dark. There is no lighting for the upper parking lot and I tripped on the uneven tar parking lot. I fell hard and skinned up my knees and hands. Please get some lighting up there or fix the the parking lot. Thank you.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The views of Lake Superior were soul nourishing. From the sunrises and the boats moving across the water, to the gentle sound of the waves lapping on the shore and the moon glinting on the surface, we derived much pleasure from the lake as we sat on the porch just outside our room, or at our picture window taking in everything. The property itself is perfectly located, with an easy drive or a short hike into town. The room was spacious. (Room 21) We brought our own food for a hiking weekend so the refrigerator and microwave was appreciated. There was enough counter space for our food bags, cooler and suitcases. The shower pressure was phenomenal and appreciated after a long day of hiking. Only issue was our room trash. We stayed three days and no one collected it daily. Three meals a day creates a lot of trash and I finally had to dump it myself to get the fruit flies out of the room. Otherwise, the room was clean and we appreciated the ability to go into a cabinet in the office and obtain another towel or shower gel, etc. without having to wait for someone from room service (which didn’t exist) to bring it. We enjoyed our stay and will absolutely return.
