Enjoyed returning again

Pros: Quiet and restful layout. [The two boxes below will not accept additional comments. Sorry but I shall not waste my time with inadequate software]
Cons: Housekeeping staff did not make up our room within what I considered a reasonable time. We were out of our room 4+ hours on a low traffic day.
Location: Completing above: When we returned, the room was not made up. Additionally, surely we were entitled to 2 soaps and tubes of body lotion rather than
Disappointed in dining options. Facilities were reduced from prior visits so we were confronted with eating Mexican cuisine. We did not, and you lost revenue. Housekeeping was lesss than expected (see below).

Nice & noisy hotel

Grounds are lovely but it's a wedding mill. Wouldn't recommend unless you are in/going to one.

Great spot to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Estancia. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We especially liked the pool area and restaurants on site. Staff was professional and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located close to LaJolla and San Diego.

Beautiful scenery

I visited this resort hotel due to a family wedding that was held at this location. It truly is an exquisite resort that I highly recommend. It's pricey, but it's worth it.

Good hotel - spoilt by very poor service

Pros: Not much at all - location was ok
Cons: Just about everything
Location: San Diego and La Jolla are delightful......lots of things to see and do.
A very poor experience from start to finish. From getting our airport pick-up wrong by a month, to having very poor front office staff, poor restaurant capability......only 1, when it brags 3. Unbelievable poor service around the pool. Rowdy children around the pool - allowed to be un-supervised. When I asked for butter for a croissant I was told we have none and you can lump it was the attitude. Awoken at 6 am fro room service that wasn't ordered and then being charged for it. The place is a joke - Fawlty Towers springs to mind. and 25 dollars a day to self park was the icing on the cake

Not clean, deceptive pricing, don't recommend

Heaps of used room service dried up food, plates etc outside my room door baking in the sun.. Then opened the door and saw used dirty socks next to the bed..Generally really gross for a purported upscale hotel.. Also deceptive pricing: They tack on daily "Resort fees" onto public quoted price after you get there which makes this noticeably more expensive and you have no option to opt out - even if you don't use resort services
