Seen better years

Looks as though this establishment was at one time top notch. Unfortunately, the rooms are dated and need of referbishment. Prices need to be halved until this takes place. Staff was excellent, accommodations need to be improved.

Amazing hotel

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and my experience was very pleasant. The room was very nice and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. We were given a free room upgrade, which we also really enjoyed. The view was stellar and the hotel is near many restaurants and store. I highly recommend staying here when in Ponte Vedra.

Great atmosphere for relaxing getaway......but !

Pros: The ambience and atmosphere were great, the beach was great, staff was great and the food was very good but far too pricey.
Cons: Two of the most important comfort features, the Beds and the Coffee !
Location: The location is excellent, and unfortunate for the resort there are many excellent dining optios available nearby at more reasonable pricing levels.
To begin with I had booked a room with a King size bed and we got two doubles, so that was not a comfortable situation for a couple tha has been sleeping on a King bed for the last 20 years! There were concerns with two of the most important comfort features, especially as it relates to the 50 and above generation, the first is the bed itself, they appear to be much too worn out ( the foot of the bed was higher than the head and the they sagged to the middle of the mattress. Then the coffee maker and coffee were just awful, a resort atr this level should provide a Kuerig and a variety of pods. These are very important issues and they should be improved to be equitable with the ambience and atmosphere !!

Overpriced, nothing special, beware the resort fee

Pros: Front desk personnel and other hotel staff we ran into were very pleasant. The ocean view was a treat.
Cons: See above paragraph beginning with "Can't recommend.'' And be aware of the ''resort fee.''
Location: Check your car navigation system for Ponte Vedra and Jacksonville. Or ask the concierge.
Can't recommend the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, at least the room we were in.at the so-called Summer House. We were free-"upgraded" to a suite there. Delighted till we got into the room. Nice view of the ocean but: the unmistakably musty smell of a several-decades-old room with the original carpeting . . . .virtually no wi-fi (one bar if you stand in one corner) . . several TV channels were unavailable . . . . and it's just old and dim and not well-remodeled, if it's ever been remodeled at all. Worst of all, we reserved through Expedia for three-hundred bucks, assuming that covered everything. Evidently not: The hotel added a chunky little thirty-two smacker "resort fee" at checkout. It's not the money; it's the principle of the thing. Now whenever we make a hotel reservation we have to make sure there's no ''resort fee"? Really?

Slice of heaven

We had the most wonderful time! The place is beautiful loved the patios. Everyone was great and very accommodating. The restaurants were good! I highly recommend staying here. Definitely top notch

Great Resort, Excellent Staff

Everyone at Ponte Verda goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The resort has everything, great beaches, excellent restaurants, exercise facilities including a beautiful lab pool...adults only, which is appreciated. The rooms are wonderful....I highly recommend!
