In Pt. Loma an easy drive (or shuttle) to airport.

Pros: Comfy, nice breakfast.
Have stayed here before as close to sport fishing pier. Convenient to restaurants & places to wander, & short drive to the beach.

Hotel needs total renovation. Elevator the size if a shoebox. Room ok clean. Not close to Airport

Location: lots of restaurants across from boat docks for fishing and water activites.
I am a very simple person when it comes to hotels. All I require is cleanliness, good staff and no bugs. This hotel far exceeded my expectations for the price. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Also a great location lots of places to eat. Also if you are on a budget there are several Mexican food take out with very reasonable prices and most of the convenience stores have a deli where you can get sandwiches and subs at very reasonable prices.

Disappointing

Pros: Breakfast staff and food choices
Cons: Cleanliness, general appearances, presence of front desk staff, access to restrooms from the dining area, bedding, weight room, pool
Location: Great coffee shop near by, great neighborhood to walk in, beaches are close, zoo is close and thankfully plenty of close restaurants
The breakfast staff were always wonderful. The women taking care of customers at breakfast were friendly, helpful and efficient. I am not sure who managed the front desk because I hardly saw them. I have no idea who cared for the rooms but our room was not clean. In fact, the pillow cases were dirty, the sand was not swept off of the floors, the sheets were never changed and there were no disinfectant wipes or spray for the weight room.

The hotel needs some renovation. It is not bad. But it could use some more renovation. The room looked like it went through only half of the renovation. The room is painted with nice accent red wall and hard wood floor, but could use some more renovation like the door and bathroom.I would recommend the hotel for the location, the shuttle and proximity to the airport.

That being said, we are sorry the accommodations did not meet your expectations for our brand as they are beginning to show some age. We are in the process of upgrading our facility and are doing so in small stages so as to disturb our guests as little as possible. The hallways have been painted and the carpet recently replaced. We are gradually replacing the flooring and tile in our guest rooms, and will be replacing the bedding and furniture within the next year. Location: shopping, eating, fishing, site seeing
The elevator was out, but they got us on the 1st floor. Close to some great EATS, harbor fishing, and tours. Close to Airport and shopping. Pool was nice

Good location- friendly staff

Point Loma location close to Shelter Island. Nice neighborhood for walking and many local coffee shops and local restaurants. Clean rooms and accommodating staff. Have stayed here several times. Also provide courtesy van to and from airport

Nice, Updated Room!

Pros: The room
Cons: Room door
Location: It is close to the airport. Ten minutes away and they have a free shuttle, but the shuttle is not 24 hours.
I was surprised that the hotel room was so nice. It was renovated. The lobby is not as nice looking as the rooms. Also, my room door was so hard to open that I had to go t the front desk and ask them to open it for me. Even he couldn't get it open without constantly bumping his hip against it. Clearly, the room doors are NOT renovated. lol

Nice and clean hotel with near by to SeaWorld. Parking is free and available easily.
