Only plus - airport

Pros: Close to airport
Cons: Paint was peeling off of walls. The slopped on paint was grimey on doorways and doors. Needs renovation or star rating should be lowered.
Location: Located near sports fishing pier.
Reserved several months in advance to be close to airport. Room was smelly and extremely small. Noise from 3rd floor, someone clunking luggage and wheeling it around well after midnight. Tub faucet ran all night. Breakfast room was dingy without much to offer. The area outside the facility was not someplace you would feel comfortable taking a walk in. This place needs a complete renovation including the creepy, tiny, old elevator. Not work the money at all.

Old hotel close to amenties

I was disappointed with hotel as it had a decent review...not what I expected at all! Rooms were old, bathroom was tiny. The breakfast was very basic. I was with kids and I would not recommend for families....overall really below par.

Room was not clean, bathroom floors dirty. Arrived at 12:30 am to sleep and catch early flight out. People outside in pool area talking loudly until after 2:00 am. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone to stay there. If it wasn’t so late, I would have gone to a different hotel even though room was paid for already through Expedia

Close to airport, bay and downtown. Allows for extended airport parking for a nominal fee.

Air conditioner needs attention

Cons: Air conditioner in room 214 didn't cool the room enough.
We came in from Mexico, just stayed overnight to catch an early morning flight north to home. Hotel was ok.

Old but clean

Pros: Rooms were very clean and staff kept it that way during our stay.
This hotel was very old, but very clean. It is also very noisy. Doors start slamming, loudly, at 5:30 when the breakfast starts.

Clean hotel but a little aged.

For the price in the area it was a clean, centrally located room. It has been upgraded but you still see the age of the building. I would stay again just knowing it's not a modern building but a clean place.

In Pt. Loma an easy drive (or shuttle) to airport.

Pros: Comfy, nice breakfast.
Have stayed here before as close to sport fishing pier. Convenient to restaurants & places to wander, & short drive to the beach.
