The property is well located with access to restaurants and stores. The staff is friendly and helpful. The heated pool was a highlight plus the jacuzzi. The palm trees make you feel you are outside the city so it serves its purpose very good.

They have hidden cost , they charged me $112 because I stayed with my dog , this is ridiculous and other guests smoke weed all night Also the reception were too rude I wont recommend this property to anyone

Check in and check out was great. The facility was not exactly “modern” but it was clean and comfortable. It is also adjacent to a shopping center with various food options. Very convenient for visitors of UCSD. I would stay again!

This is the second time I have stayed in the hotel (once for 10 days, the other for 4) - it is incredibly convenient for the University of California San Diego. Staff are excellent, the hotel itself is very stylish, pool, hummingbirds, the lot.

While I usually don’t prefer a hotel with multiple smaller buildings, this one turned out to be really nice. Our room was comfortable and the pool and hot tub were beautiful as were the grounds. I would definitely stay here again!

I loved the spa, it was a big size. Also, the pool seemed to be heated, which was a plus for winter. It has an automated towel check so you don’t have to worry about towels. The rooms were comfy, the grounds were relaxing and pretty, the front desk was welcoming. Parking was $27/day, but convenient. Liked that we were near restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

the only problem was the towels were horrible like super rough sandpaper. the blow dryer was filthy & I had to clean it so the rough wash cloths came in handy. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Noisy freeway, avoid hotel OR bring good earplugs
Room quality is OK, clean bathroom, bed and pillows OK. However, my experience was hugely negative due to the freeway noise nearby. It was nearly impossible to sleep (for me). I noticed the noise as soon as I walked into the first room, the freeway sounds like the windows are open. I asked to change, they assured me my next room would be OK, but it was not. Probably the worst night of "rest" in my recent travels. If you must stay here, bring good ear plugs! Or just avoid.

This is not The Sheraton. This is more like a Comfort Inn with overpriced parking and food. Wished I had paid closer attention when I booked it. I was expecting the comfort and quality of The Sheraton so of course the rooms were very disappointing. AC/heater was old, noisy and a little smelly; garden view room was nothing like the photos as tall plants blocked the view and the sun. The only positive was the staff at the reception, maintenance guy who fixed the heater and cleaning crew. All were very polite and pleasant. Won't be returning! Holiday Inn has nicer rooms and free breakfast for about the same price.
