Beautiful historic home. Good breakfast and it was fun to come in in the evening and have a choice of desserts.

STAYPosted Jun 29, 2017
Pros: Karen and the location
Cons: Update bathrooms and beds
Location: Great/Perfect location, walking distance to restaurants, shops and the water
Karen the Manager was exceptional, she made us feel very welcome and treated us really well, we loved meeting her. The night person was not so friendly. The facility is very beautiful and quaint, room was clean. The beds were not comfortable and the bathrooms are very small and need some updating.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff are very friendly. Desserts in the evening were delicious as well as breakfast. This is the third time we have stayed here.

Beautiful Historic InnPosted Jun 2, 2017
We loved staying at the Rhett House Inn. The staff was very attentive, making us feel at home with family members. The house is one of the most beautiful in the South and full of history. The food was excellent and always available. The Inn is located within walking distance of downtown Beaufort and the other mansions in this wonderful town. One of our favorite stays ever!

Staff was awesome, the room was under-whelmingPosted May 11, 2017 on Hotels
Beautfort was fantastic! I must say that the staff of Rhett House is what made our stay the MOST enjoyable. Elizabeth was especially sweet and helpful, telling us about all the fun things going on in town. They have great amenities (bikes, champagne upon arrival, deserts in the evening). I was somewhat disappointed in the room, however. I left a comment card, so I believe the issues were addressed (fan in bathroom not working, night light not working, mold in the shower). To spend over $300 per night, I wouldn't have expected a plastic shower, big plastic bath tub (although it was jetted), and the way the "ADA" bathroom door was "rigged" was just plain ugly... not the types of finishes and details you would expect for that amount of money. We enjoyed having the screened porch with privacy. It had two comfy wicker chairs & table, but only one rocking chair...? It would have been fantastic to be able to open the two windows in the front to let the breeze in too, but they were painted shut! Perhaps the cottage needs a little more attention and upgrades. Again, the staff were the BEST! The morning servers,Anna & Chandalyn, the Inn Keepers, Elizabeth, Amy & Gloria, and Karen, the manager... all FANTASTIC! When we return to Beaufort, we will probably check out a different historic B & B.

We were warmly welcomed and taken to our attractive and comfortable room. The individually prepared breakfasts were nothing special. Service, overall, was friendly but slow.
