Extremely dissatisfiedPosted Jun 29, 2015 on Hotels
Well my original review was denied because apparently it was too frank and I cannot repeat verbiage the hotel staff used in referring to the fact we reserved our hotel after midnight and left before 9am. But in review, we will never stay here again and will never refer anyone we know to this hotel. I hope this review at least sticks, it's a shame you cannot say what really went on.

A very expensive few hours to sleep......Posted Jun 24, 2015 on Hotels
Well we stayed here because I literally could drive no more. We checked in after midnight and were gone by 9am. My husband went to the lobby for breakfast and tried to bring me a bagel and got screamed at saying "LOOK AT THE SIGN" you are not allowed to take food to the rooms! Then after he through the food in the trash can, he heard them say how they "gave" their room away to us with that "stupid online ****". I don't think paying over $70 for a room for a few hours is giving anything away. It would have been empty otherwise!!! And why can't you take food to the room when there is a microwave and a fridge IN the room? There was only ONE coffee pod in the room and I needed more than that....after that treatment we were afraid to ask for another one. So we got out stuff and checked out....and went on down the road for coffee!! We won't ever stop here again and we will be making this exact trip again in a couple months to go pick up the kids we dropped off! And also, when we were checking in the poor couple that checked in before us went to their room and it wasn't made up! No sheets, comforter on the desk, no towels...seems someone really dropped the ball there! That poor girl checking us in had no idea what to do....I felt really sorry for her. She was amazing!!!!

Great lil place to get away!Posted May 28, 2015 on Hotels
The room was very clean and did not smell musty like some rooms do. Not having carpet is probably the key here. The pool was small, but it was just enough and the hot tub was fabulous. We will stay here again.

VERY EASY TO FINDPosted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: VERY QUIET
Cons: BETTER LIGHTING IN THE PARING LOT AND ADD A ELEVATOR
THIS HOTEL WAS RIGHT OFF THE INTERSTATE AND EASY TO FIND AND WE WERE ABLE TO WALK TO THE WAFFLE HOUSE NEXT DOOR.

Horrible HotelPosted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels
This hotel was unclean, the carpets were filthy, our room smelled horrible. The hotel had no elevators and the pool was almost comically small. The room was missing the coffee maker, hair dryer, a suitable number of bath towels, and most of the bathroom fixtures. The front desk ran out of shampoo. The front desk personnel, while very polite and attempting to help, had difficulty with bookings and room assignments. I received a message notification on the hotel phone, but when I called the front desk to check the message (there was no direct message access from the phone) the lady replied “I don’t know, I can’t tell you anything about any message.” They seemed untrained and overwhelmed. In sum- while inexpensive, the hotel ignores the basics that are expected at even the lower-in places. There are much better (and even cheaper) alternatives in the immediate area.

Close to all family and friends in the area.Posted Jul 2, 2013 on Hotels
Our stay at the Super * Motel was nice. They were very accommodating for someone who could not climb stairs. Staff was friendly and well informed about the area. No problems at all. Room was clean and cool at all times.

Hotel in very poor conditionPosted Jun 4, 2013 on Hotels
After booking I called Super 8 to make sure everything was set and if they had told me on the phone that pool is closed indefinately I would not have rented there. I rented 2 rooms one for my family and the other was a gift to my parents that came in from Florida. Upon arrival they told me the pool and spa would not be open during our stay. The rooms smelled so bad my husband had to go buy febreeze. There were holes in the bathtub and walls. Blow dryer was gone and the wall outlet had marks all over from catching on fire. Fridge had rusty shelves and the room was unclean. I took pics and complained but have yet to get a response to my email. I booked our room for a total of 4 people but there were only 2 towels. When I asked the front desk for more I was told they didn't have any clean. Several lights in the room did not work because they didn't have light bulbs. The door leading into the building had a broken lock so anyone could've come into the hotel. I always stay at Super 8's all over the state and this is the worse one I've ever been to and I would not stay there again.
