The Bistro with this hotel had a great breakfast. You have to pay for it but it was worth it. The avocado, egg, bacon was great.

Perfect for our needs

Posted Oct 8, 2015 on Hotels
We were in town visiting family for only one night but this hotel fit all of our needs. Check in was painless, room was large and clean, bed was very comfortable, nice coffee shop in the hotel and there was a microwave and refrigerator in the room... what more do you need. We felt very safe there and we especially enjoyed the indoor pool after a long day. I would definitely stay there again while in Beaumont.

Actually I was a bit upset on this stay...I live in Houston and come to your Hotel quite a bit to spend time with my kids that live in Groves. I am divorced and my kids (10 and 12) love the indoor pool and all the great things about staying in a hotel.....I was in room 331. I understand renovation but the wall behind the beds was horrible.. Most of the rooms on our floor were under renovation and me kids actually came up on the stairway on the wrong side which was more fun in a way for them..When we all left for the movies and decided to take the stairs down on our side there was white paint all over the carpet on the staircase and my 10 year old daughter actually said "What a dump.."! I thought this a little funny at the time since we have been staying at your place since she was 7.. In retrospect, I payed $129 a night for a room which is 100% and some of your room rate to stay in a place that was not 100% of what we were used to....

Beaumont stay

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: The lady who checked us in was very nice.
Cons: Bigger shower, thorough cleaning, better internet, offer continental breakfast for the price.
We found an ICEE lid left on the floor upon entering our room for the first time. That told us the room obviously was not cleaned well. The bathroom sink did not drain well at all. The bathtub had to be the smallest hotel shower we have ever been in. The tub flooring cratered to the middle so our feet had to stay in the middle to be somewhat stable/comfortable. And the drain was rusted. The internet connection was extremely slow. I do not recommend linking up to their service if you need anything within 20 minutes. For the price I feel like we would have been better at a Motel 6.

Spent the night before the Spindleton Spin

Posted Jun 24, 2015 on Hotels
Spent the night while participating in the 2015 Spindletop Spin bicycle ride. Reasonably close to start location; lots of restaurants within walking distance. Very convenient to/from I-10. Overall, more than satisfactory.
