The hotel itself is outdated. The microwave in our bedroom was super dirty, somebody spilled coffee before and I wasn’t clean. Tthe mirror in the bedroom was totally broken, we were concerned one of us could cut themselves. The bedroom had a funky smell. We got hit with a pet fee after checking out, that wasn’t mentioned on EXPEDIA and the front desk said it was explained on their website, so recommended to us NOT TK use 3rd parties to make reservations to avoid these situations… so not reliable the info on Expedia

Here is our opinion - this hotel is in awful condition and it was a bad experience all around - except for the great restaurant next door! This hotel is beat up and not even close to what we expected from a Hampton Inn, or worth close to the Hampton Inn premium that we paid. The pool was dirty, the hot tub disgusting - it smelled awful. Many pool chairs were black with what looked like mold. Room was beat up, bathroom ceiling moldy and full length mirror cracked. Air conditioner rattled on and off all night. Breakfast, to the extent there was any, was gross. Really unfair to say breakfast is included when what there is is minimal and really net edible. When we asked that they replenish the egg we were told it would take a bit - half hour later, same story and no eggs. Many guests, like us, apparently left the breakfast room in disgust. Frankly we couldn’t wait to get out of this place because it felt skeevy. And we are still feeling it.

Your site said the room had tub bath combo it did not. Additionally there was not enough light in the room or the bathroom, extremely noisy a/c, no water pressure, only one table lite and it was on the wrong side of the bed, terrible smell in hallway,

Clothing was left on floor from previous guest that makes me question how well they clean the rooms. Room seemed to have a musty smell. Light above sink in bathroom was out. Indoor pool water was freezing cold, along with hottub which water was cold as well. Lastly the elevator souned like it wanted to disconnect every use. Only positives were that the beds were comfortable and breakfast was decent. Personally wouldn’t stay there again.

The only satisfactory thing about this hotel was the room. However, it was adjacent to an area being dried with fans due to a leaking drainage pipe in the ceiling. There was a musty odor. Laundry area had a washing machine and dryer out of order, which was not labeled. I lost $2 inserted in this dryer, and the front desk person would not reimburse us for the inconvenience. Night staff person offered to reimburse, but it was late and decided to wait until morning. Front desk daytime staff was not very helpful. The first floor mens bathroom was not well maintained. The breakfast was missing items and not monitored. This was one of the worst Hampton Inn we've experienced.

The property was good overall. This is a Hilton Property and they charge extra for decent internet. I paid the extra, but the internet was too slow to watch videos. The breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly. The room I had could use some cleaning around the edges, particularly the bathroom.

If I wanted Days inn I would have selected it.
The furniture was sooo outdated. Did not rest because the 1st floor curtains don’t close, scared. Saw and took pic of roach. Did not shower does not look clean. Smelly rooms smelly hall . If I wanted motel 6 or the Osborne Hotel I need a deep discount refund. I have stayed here 3 times never for a full night . 1 storm and 2 times tooo sleepy . I will never ever stay here again

We traveled to Winnie to visit the High Island and surrounding bird sanctuaries. Hampton in was close and very comfortable and convenient when we returned at the end of the day. We were very satisfied with our stay there.
