We checked in late at night and when we opened the door it was a combination of sewer and dead rat smell. The other room had gross stuff dripping down the walls and the room smelled musty. Melissa was the receptionist, but couldn't leave the front desk to check out the rooms. She was very helpful but the management was unavailable until Monday. All the other rooms were booked, so we left and went to another hotel. Hopefully, Expedia will be able to get the rooms refunded.

I asked for a ground floor room due to handicap/mobility issues. When I checked in, the desk clerk said they didn't have any and put me on the third floor and additionally, that the elevator didn't work. I again told themI needed a ground floor do to handicap accessibility and I quote, "Well, sir, you don't look handicapped to me." This was a very inappropriate response as all handicapped people do not look handicapped. They weren’t apologetic and did absolutely nothing to help with the situation. Since we booked the room via Expedia, we had no choice but to remain there. Getting luggage up three flights of stairs and having to maneuver them multiple times a day in order to participate in the reason for being there made my stay very painful and unenjoyable. Anyone dealing with the public needs to take a serious customer service training course on how to deal with people, especially those with disabilities. We should have been notified, or the broken elevator should have been listed on the booking site. Completely disappointed with the entire experience.

The property is nice and clean but it took 2 hours to check in and we were told at check in that our room was taken by someone else and then the lady checking us in gave us a single room and told me to see if it had a sleeper sofa for my kids and low and behold it didn't. So back down the stairs and finally got a room.

Good, clean hotel…3 out of 4 stars.
Hotel was clean with just a few maintenance issues (floor covering in elevator needed replacing). It was loud in the evening. Breakfast was ok…not much variety… and no eggs. Definitely not the variety of Holiday Inn.

Mr Michael I am confused Our system shows that you had a reservation for Jan 9th 2024 thru expedia but you cancelled & did not stay & I am confused as to the statement of not much of a variety we daily Monday through Sunday serve eggs, hasbrowns, alternate bacon, sausage patties, or sausage links daily biscuits & gravy waffles, bagels, Danish, yogurt, Kellogg's breakfast bars, muffins variety, cereal (sugared & non sugared) oatmeal , grits, fresh fruit, apples bananas, oranges, milk & coffee & juice orange , apple, cranberry could you please advise me on what other item may be needed

Staff was friendly and efficient, however the room had a broken phone that did not work, curtains were not completely hung on the hooks and the mini fridge froze everything in it, even tho I turned the thermostat to a much higher setting. Beds and pillows were a little tired and worn out, but overall a good value.

Our room was extremely dirty. Both of the comforters on the double beds had stains. One had blood stains and the other had lipstick stains; these were not hidden but visible as soon as you walked into the room. The side chair had grease stains all over it. The bathtub drain was clogged and the granite surrounding the tub was very strong with cigarette smoke.

I apologize that your top cover had a lipstick stain on it we have ordered new one they are on back order I also reprimanded the housekeeper that if she had no non stained top covers she should not have put any on the bedI inspected the chair & did not see grease stains butI did see a stain & advise one of my employees to place the chair on the list to be cleaned & hand shampooed before renting the room againI apologize for any inconvenience. We are preparing to start a upgrade & replacement in the guests roomsI hope that you will give us a chance again in the future

We were given keys to one room number, but the folio room number was different. So upon returning the first night, we found another couple in the room to which we had been given a Key. The staff said "we always call", but no call was received. Our belonging had been placed in several clean Trash Bags and our suitcases. Our suitcase had out names and phone numbers clearly noted on tags. Our items had been placed in a Yellow Laundry hamper, which we had to bring up to our new room (and the new keys didn't work either, necessitating another trip back to the front desk, nor did the second set of keys work. We asked to speak to the manger, and was told she wasn't in yet but would call us. No call was received. My wife called that afternoon and we were told she was out obtaining supplies. The next morning we were again reassured she would call. Again no call from her. My wife called later that afternoon and talked to her. WE explained out inconvenience, etc. I asked for some compensation for our inconvenience, and was again told the manager would contact us, but had to speak to the owner. Again the manager did not call us that day. We called and talked to her AFTER we checked out. We were told she "take care of it" When I asked what she meant, I was told we'd receive a $25.00 Gift certificate. After I emailed the manager and explain I hardly felt this was adequate for their error, I was told my bill would be credited $50.00. This had been our 4th stay there.

Mr Grossman I would like to clarify a few things I do not work on Saturday or Sunday to return calls to anyone I was told that your wife did speak with our Assistant Manager whom relayed all the information Monday afternoon asI had blood work & a Dr. visit Monday & did not arrive to work until after 1 pm I in fact was sitting at my desk looking up your folio & being made aware of the situation when your wife called I explained everything to your wife, There was a error in our new computer program & you were placed in our system under a different room number so the next day is when the confusion began, The room in our system was listed as a check out so the housekeeper relayed that items were still in the room to the Front Desk who called the number on file for the folio for that room the lady stated that as far as she knew the job was supposed to be completed that day & they were told to take their items with them to the job site & that maybe one of them misunderstood so we followed policy & 2 of the housekeepers went to the room video tapped placing your luggage in a cart I even offered to allow your wife to view the video so that she could witness the care they took. I understand it was an inconvenience to have to unpack your items in a different room & I apologized profusely There are a few things I am confused about in one review you stated you walked in on a gentleman sitting on the bed sir when a guest checks out the keys automatically no longer work on another review site you stated a couple was in your room again once a guest is checked out the previous guests keys no longer works You also stated you were moved to a smaller room but sir you booked through a booking company a single King room when you checked in the new worker accidently upgraded you to a extended king so sir you actually got the type of room that you paid for. I have profusely apologized & I did refund you 50 for the inconvenience

This property is gorgeous on the outside, but the inside everywhere you go is just filthy. The hotel needs a deep cleaning. The walls and carpet need freshening. The mold on the ceiling of my room needed to be fixed. The room’s furniture had nasty stains and you could smell weed in the hall. Just a very rundown hotel despite the possibility of being an amazing establishment.

I am sorry that you were not happy with your stay.We shampoo the carpet in each room but the carpet is being replaced along with all new guest room furniture And ma'am we have a 0 tolerance policy on guests smoking in our hotel if or when it happens we immediately find what room it is coming from & contact the guest kick them out or call the police We do not tolerate smoking anything in our hotel so I apologize.

The first thing that I encountered was that they had overbooked and the King room that I reserved was no longer available so I got a room with 2 queen beds. Not a really big deal, however, not what I wanted. The lady that set up the breakfast was fantastic. She never stopped. She kept all the breakfast items stocked up and she made sure that there was always fresh coffee brewed.

Mr Kenneth we did not overbook we had to place 3 king rooms out of order one due to a broken toilet one due to ac/heat stop working & the 3rd the previous guest without our knowledge broke the sink so we had no more king rooms available but I do apologize you were unable to get the King room

Problems
The room had no clock and hair dryer. We always bring our own anyway. The mattress had some problems on one side. It felt like it had been crushed or it was worn out on one side. They gave us a handicap room (ordered online regular room with queen size bed) because they told me that's all they had left. Took a shower when we got there the 1st night and water ran out all over the bathroom floor and into the entry way. I went to front desk the next day for my next shower and asked for a lot of towels so I could put them down over the floor area for my wife's and mine next shower and that helped.

This is the second time I stayed here and both times I have had to deal with roaches. I would have thought after the first time it wouldn't happen again. Well it did and honestly they really need to clean that up. The place is not only got roaches, but the rooms are nasty and not clean at all. The chair in our room saw covered in something (gross). I am tired of telling people that their staff isn't doing their job. I was there for a celebration of life for a family member and here I am having to tell the front desk there is roaches again. Besides all that the staff at the front desk are very kind so I have no complaints there.

Ma'am I have responded on all of the different platforms & sites that you have placed your review on I have apologized on all of them & will do so again on this one. I apologize that you were unhappy with your stayIn order to gather all the information to address your complaint properly,I searched our records & only see that you have only been here one time on 11/18/23 you rented 2 rooms for one nightroom #101 & room #102 Due to the fact that we have a contract with Anytime Exterminators whom maintains our property & they have not nor employees, guest, or myself as I live on the property have reported seeing roaches. So I personally went to room #101 & #102 that you & your guest stayed in & found only in 1 room a huge dead tree roach not germane roaches but the kind that come from outside especially during or after it rains & that is nature versus uncleanness we do not nor have nor have we ever had an infestation in the past 5 years that I have worked here.Yes there have there been times that a guest has brought in a few roaches yes ma'am but we have a protocol in place we address it immediately by shutting down the room using chemicals right then & there & follow up with calling our contracted Pest control company who comes out within a 24 hour periodAnd yes ma'am I am aware that the hotel is in need of updating & In Jan 2024 the major updating will begin example of just a few things all new guest room furniture, carpet replaced, new minimum 50 inch televisionsAlong with several more items needing updating I am aware of stains on the chair in that room I have coordinated with several housekeepers whom strictly spend their work day steam cleaning & sanitizing the chairs, several days a week.Since becoming the Manager last year I have implemented & followed through with several items needed here at the hotel. But it is still a work in progress so please know that we are working on the issues.

The lady who checked us in was very nice. Our room window view was completely blocked by the entry awning. The mini fridge didn't work. The AC hardly kept the room cool and smelled horrible. The carpet smelled of dog urine. Everything was dusty and dirty. The complimentary breakfast wasn't edible. Definitely will not be back.

Condition of room: Poor. Room was fairly dirty from the carpeting to the tables and chairs. The bathroom floor and shower were dirty and the toilet seat was cracked and dirty. The sheets did not feel new or clean and the pillows were worn and needed to be replaced. Various wall cracks and damage. TV was outdated and the remote was sticky old and had no guide menu which isn’t a big deal but an easy update. Big issue is the smell of mildew throughout hotel and in the rooms. Breakfast could use real bacon, and better potato option. Breakfast area seating was fairly dirty for so early in the morning. The staff was super nice and the entrance and parking area were well lit.

I apologize that you were not happy with your stay may I ask did you contact the front desk with the issues you experienced so that could move you roomsI went & inspected room #108 that you staid in & I did see 2 hairline cracks where the toilet seat connects to the screw base & I will have maintenance replace it The sheets are new we just ordered all new sets so I assure you they are new & the appropriate thread count that is required per Wyndham.We just recently got our approval for a complete update we will be removing all carpet in all room as well as the entire hotel we will be replacing all the furniture in guests rooms will be replacing all tv with new 50 inch television's & several other items along with fresh paint through outAs for the breakfast we do serve quiet a bit of variety for guests to choose from & we do servereal bacon it is Bacon, Pork 150 Count Sliced Laid Out Applewood Smoked Uncured bacon we also serve eggs, sausage links & patties because you were only here one night you would not have been able to see that we alternate the 3 meats we also serve daily hash browns, biscuits & gravy cereal, oatmeal, grits, yogurt, bagels, mini muffins, variety flavored Danish's, fresh fruit bananas apples & oranges milk & juice apple orange & cranberry.I did go inspect the breakfast area furniture none of it is cloth or stained when I viewed the camera for Sunday there was a large number of children whom ate & perhaps were a little messy but I apologize my kitchen employee should have been more vigilant with a rag & sanitizer & made sure to promptly clean any spills.Again I apologize that you were unhappy with your stay perhaps after the 1st of the year when we start our remodel you will give us another chance

The only good thing about this hotel was the staff. They were all amazing. The hotel is in dire need of updating. When we pulled out on of the drawers in our room, the entire front came off leaving exposed nails. In another drawer we found a dirty sock. The carpet in our room was ripped, the pool and hot tub were broken and our friend’s rooms smelled like sewage.
