Pros: Location and price
Cons: Need to do some exterminating. I woke up early one morning and there was a big roach crawling on my arm.
Hotel room was a good value for the price. The hotel is a bit aged but they are trying to update some of the rooms.

HORR7

I know that we are unable to control Mother Nature but being in hotels you would also think that they would have generators they had none the lights were out for over 4 hours they refused to give us our money back they also refuse to give us an extra night the only thing that they would do when the lights did come back on was say we will give you I have your money back and you can stay another night but once the manager came in or the owner stated that no that can't be done what you we can't control mother nature which I do understand that but when your company is without lights and you have guessed expecting mothers people from out of town that need to rest they feel no sympathy for you I would not recommend this to a person that is dead and I do not disrespect the dead but I would never ever ever never referred this hotel to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience with us. Your feedback is very important to us. We strive to provide a superior guest experience, and I am sorry yours did not meet expectations. I apologize for your inconvenience. I am sorry we couldn’t please you by giving discount on your stay. I did speak with you over the phone more than 30 minutes during the power outage. I also send the text update to GSR about the power restore duration along with the power outage map during our conversation. I spoke with several hotels in the area and none of the hotels carry generators. Even if there are generators, it will control 2-4 hours of light only. What if there was a Hurricane pass through here and create big devastation like Hurricane Ike in 2005. This hotel was a shelter for the people who lost their houses. There was no light for few days but we were there helping the community. The guest stayed and paid for the rooms. You asked for a refund so you can go stay at other hotel that has power. I said ok we will give you the refund once the power come b/c we have no access to the system without the power. When power came, you change your mind, so we gave you discount on your stay. You accepted it and went to the room. Next day you called the morning GSR and asked for a refund and refused that you received the refund last night from other GSR. I was there during this call with Mr. Marvin so I told him that GSR Kent gave you the refund last night already in cash. After all this we had gave you late c/o till 2 pm. You came to lobby after 2 pm and decided to stay another night. I personally helped you with your reservation. I appreciate your sharing your concerns and hope you will give us an opportunity to better serve you in the near future.

I survived, but will never stay here again.

Old, worn out, and creepy environment. My sheets had holes, and was dingy. The bathroom door stuck. Creepy people lottering outside. After bolting the door, I moved furniture in front of the door to block it as well. The ac worked, but it was terribly loud.

Short stay for out of town business

Posted Mar 10, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: I reserved a non smoking room. The room had a very strong smoky odor. Gave me a headache the next morning and my clothes smell like an ashtray.
Location: Plenty of restaurants and an HEB.
Routine place to stay. Reasonable rates. Average quality.

Close to event and easy access to/from freeway

Posted Mar 6, 2017
Pros: Proximity
Cons: Bathtub needed maintenance, no tissues in bathroom.
Location: A lot of restaurant options within 1/2 mile of hotel.
Good price for a serviceable room. No frills, and looked pretty used (worn out appearance, not refreshed in a long while). That being said, I wanted a secure, comfortable nights sleep and ddin't want to pay much and got what I wanted.

What the F*ck

Posted Mar 5, 2017 on Hotels
It was garbage. I had a black widow spider in the corner of my room and I named him Jeremy. The housecleaners did nothing but change the sheets. Dead bugs from Jeremy lie all over the room. There was a lot of Scent of Weed around the motel at all times. Fix yourselves or you may someday go out of business. With love, Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak, True High King of Skyrim and Her People
