Good quality for the money. Relatively clean rooms (minus nasty carpet), comfortable beds, quiet AC. The location is not ideal - next to I-10 and active railroad track .... thus the noise. I spent two uneventful nights, no trouble from neighbors or anything. I liked the fact that I could park my car right in front of the room. The reason I will not be back is the check-in experience: the fellow manning the front desk simply does not belong in hospitality. I am sure he is a fine kid and everything ... but this place is going to lose lots of money because of him. I think he is family ... This is a shame since the hotel itself if fine. No I have not tried their "breakfast." I brought my own: each room has a microwave and a fridge.

This place has come a long way in one year. Last year we upgraded the televisons, wifi, tiles, and the parking lot asphalt. This year so far we have upgraded most of the mattresses, bedding, and the parking lot lights. We will continue to improve this hotel throughout the year. As we always work on improving this hotel and other aspects as well.
We are sorry that there were problems with checkin. He did chose to be honest with you about the train noise and the street noise. We are sorry for any inconvience this may have caused you. We are glad that everything else during your stay worked out.
