my worst experience everPosted Jul 17, 2015 on Hotels
I booked this hotel base on this site thinking it was descent. Boy was I wrong, I checked in on a Monday and room had dirty towels first of all. Left to give them time to clean up and got settled in and forgot my charger in the car so I went outside while my roommate was in the shower to discover the room door didn't lock.so we changed rooms woke up the next morning to use the bathroom and the toilet didn't flush.changed rooms again for the 3rd time sink was leaking but at least the door locks and the toilet flushes. Came in from work that day to find our room hadn't been cleaned. The staff acted as if they were clueless or ask what we wanted them to do. Fire alarm was pulled by someone, I could go on and on but I couldn't get my money back cause they said it was non refundable. Bad horrible place.

Overall the room was nice, but bed not as comfortable as I would have liked. The air conditioner did not work very well, it was cool but like the temperature a lilltle colder at night

We had medical issues and needed a place close to the hospital. The Ramada was a convenient location for our needs.

DisappointedPosted Jun 10, 2015 on Hotels
We checked in late (11pm) after my daughters softball games and driving in from Austin. First, we requested non smoking and we were given a smoking room. The carpet had been shampooed and was still pretty much soaking wet. The linens on the bed were damp, the cable didn't work. We asked for a different room and were told they didn't have one. We tried looking for another hotel but being that it was so late we didn't have any options. The next morning we tried to pay for the night and cancel our second night. After receiving push back for almost an hour, they finally agreed to refund us the second night. We will not stay here again. I'm sure had we been given what we asked for at the beginning, and had some of the most basic ammenities this rating would be different.

Don't do it! Spend more and go somewhere else!Posted Jun 10, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel didn't have clean towels and we first got stuck in a room that was "partially" remodeled and had an old box TV. Asked to be moved and the toilet didn't flush right. The front desk ladies weren't very helpful as they were flustered from all the complaints. The town of Beaumont jacks the price of their hotels up badly. All the hotels in this town are run down and overused. But yet they will charge crazy amounts for a run of the mill hotel. Bad experience with the hotel and town. Just don't go. And definitely don't stay at this hotel.

Cons: a new motel
Location: not a good location, did not feel safe there
the room was dirty ,the remote for the tv would not work, the toilet seat was loose and would not stay on toilet, the breakfast was not good. I was charge 92.05 for the room and the motel receipt was for 76.00. something is wrong about this.

Stay, if it's your LAST resort.Posted May 23, 2015
The rooms don't look terrible, but they have a disgusting smell. So bad, we had to switch. The front desk attendant was nice about it, but the second room still stunk, just not as bad. Major security issues at this hotel. Vagrants and homeless persons wandering all over the property inside and out. One of which, was INSIDE the hotel, standing outside our room, followed us to the pool, and made us feel very uncomfortable. We asked if he was a guest, the attendant said he was not, he was homeless, and they'd already ran him off a couple of times that day. When we went to bed, he was still sitting outside our room by the pool. Then there's the pool itself. It was dirty with trash, debris, and a dead frog floating in it. I strongly recommend families with children stay far away from this area and this hotel. Worst Ramada I've ever stayed at.
