Wonderful stay
Absolutely perfect place to stay. Immaculate service in great setting. The room was newly refurbished and was very comfortable and the staff were incredibly helpful. Finally, the quality of food at the restaurant was out of this world. Would 100% recommend this to stay.

Beautiful property . The staff are helpful and kind and warm . The service is very above the average . Also , the dining is memorabke and exceptional . The dining staff are very attentive, we’ll dress for a nice dinner , knowledgeable of the food and they make you feel relax . There’s something with their happy aura that makes you smile . That is a plus when going for a fine dining . Also, food is fantastic/ delicious and presentation is way above the average .

From the moment we arrived, staff were fabulous. Friendly and helpful - their service levels really made the difference compared to elsewhere we stayed. The restaurant was unfortunately closed the evening we stayed but they made excellent recommendations. Breakfast was excellent! Our whole experiencewas way better than expected and better than the 5 star we had in Reims. We'll return - thank you to the team.

This is a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed staying here. Large, comfortable rooms! Staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, made reservations, and was friendly. The bar is open 24 hours and is a great way to relax, end the day, and meet other travelers.

The property is very nice, well located and in all physical aspects acceptable and comfortable. I would stay here again. However, we had difficulty & miscommunication with the staff regarding reservations and other basic issues (not related to language as my wife is French speaking). It became such an issue that I finally canceled our table in the hotel restaurant and booked elsewhere because it seemed service was an overall concern (restaurant reservations not confirmed by the concierge, femme de ménage entering the room without knocking, etc).

They charged us at check out despite full booking was paid beforehand. This was frustrating and had to go through admin to get it sorted. It kind of ruined the experience.

Good but not worth the price.
The hotel is nice but absolutely not worth the price. The gardens looked like the nicest part of the hotel but they were for the bar and restaurant - it didn’t appear that you could sit and read a book or relax there. The rooms were very ‘corporate’ and a bit old fashioned.

So lovely and utterly French
There are so many things to love about this place - The proximity to town center - Adorable design (the terrace, the hotel lobby) - Breakfast spread - Helpful concierge - Daily supply of water Truly had a great stay Couple of things that could have been better - A fitness center or spa services - Advance warning/notice of additional costs (eg the breakfast - which we didnt know was extra - ended up being quite a bit during our week long stay)

Le Cèdre gets high marks
Le Cèdre is a 40 room, luxury hotel surrounded by gardens and fountains and is about a 7 minute walk to Beaune's center. Each of the rooms are individually decorated in a polished, french-country style and the staff was professional, attentive and polite. Each evening, there was automatic "turn down" service and, at checkout, the bellhop was extra helpful carrying our bags from our room all the way to the trunk of the taxi. The hotel is situated next door to a 19th c mansion that houses a Michelin star restaurant, and our 7 course meal there could simply be added to our room number. The hotel is wonderfully situated to enjoy the town of Beaune or the Côte d'Or wine region. Would be happy to visit again.

The hotel was amazing and the front desk staff very friendly and helpful. But, money that was not out in plain view was stolen from our room when we went out for the day. When we informed the front desk they told us they would speak to the housekeeping staff. And we heard nothing more from the hotel. No follow up with us. Very disappointing.

Great Hotel,. We stayed in the spring period and unfortunately the weather did not allow taking advantage of the superb garden. Th eloung with bar and fire place was just about perfect. The onlt drawbacjk was that the diner, which was perfect, was served in a numbver of smaller rooms which lacked atmosphere.
