Don't stay here.

Just drive to Summersville and spend $10 more for an excellent Quality Inn. The one at New River is old, worn out and unclean. The breakfast is terrible.

Our stay was for business. We are building in the area and need a place to stay. Your facility more than meet those needs 100%. Your location was perfect, and the bar and breakfast amenities felt like home. Thank you for the service and we shall return soon.

Nice Hotel

We stopped here after a long day of traveling. It was a nice clean stop to rest and get ready for the next day. We also appreciated that they were pet friendly as we were traveling home with our new 7 week old puppy.

Near the New River Gorge Bridge

Location: Convenient to the New River Gorge Bridge.
We only stayed one night while visiting the area but found the facility very adequate. Price was good and the free breakfast was "great."

What I expected at that price range.

Cons: Wifi, HVAC.
Hotel is old and a bit beat up, but there is evidence that the staff works hard to make it as good as it can be. Bed was fine, bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good enough. Wifi was nonexistent, barely able to handle email. I had work to do, so this was a deal-breaker for me, especially with very slow cell service in the area. HVAC was old, too, and ran with a loud WOONWOONWOONWOON. I moved down the road to the Comfort inn in Oak Hill, which was way better for $15 more, and the wifi worked.
