Great service from staff. Room cleanliness not what you would hope for at a "luxe" property. Ask for room on second floor. Rooms on first floor are right below kitchen for restaurant downstairs and it is extremely noisy throughout the day and night. Overall, its OK but dont go out of your way to come here.

Pros: While it is a very old building, it is totally up to date with modern features throughout.
Cons: As I said above, the only improvements I can think of would be better WiFi and having CNBC.
Location: A great restaurant three miles away is the Inn and Pound Ridge. We dined there one night and it was one of the best restaurants we been to in a while.
My wife and I had two perfect days at the Bedford Post Inn. Everything exceeded our already high expectations. From the time we checked in until we checked our, everything was perfect. The only thing that could have been better was the weather - it was during last week's heat wave. A record 100 degrees! The staff members were friendly and helpful. The general manager, Andrew, was most gracious and welcoming. He even asked how they could further improve the inn. I could only think of two things: a stronger more consistent WiFi signal in our room and the availability of the business TV channel CNBC In our room. Both restaurants at the hotel are superb, the Barn, where we had breakfast, and the Italian restaurant, Campagns, where we dined one night. Campagna is clearly one of the finest restaurants in the area. The grounds of the inn are beautifully landscaped. We can highly recommend this inn for a getaway.
