Location: nothing to do or eat nearby. terrible location
typical hotel, not worth the cost; I've stayed at other doubletree hotels and have had a much better experience. If you're in a rush, have a car and are staying for business / a function this may be ok for you but otherwise students, couples. etc. shouldn't - nothing to do in the area, train is a 20-30 minute car ride from the hotel, no food nearby and only two places delivery. Don't bother.

Thank you for your review. I hope you give us another shot in the future, as there are many new restaurants in the area, including Kings Bowling and Dave and Busters. There are also a handful of nearby train, bus and subway options to Boston. Please feel free to reach out to our Front Office Manager, Bernie, should you travel back to the area. I know that our staff would be eager to assist in suggesting activities. Thank you for being our guest!

Would definitely stay again and recommend

Pros: Reasonable priced restaurant and pool and hot tub available.
Location: It is not hard to find off of Rt, 3 and there is plenty of shopping and restaurants, nearby including the Burlington Mall which has a Rainforest Cafe.
We tried to follow our GPS to get to the hotel, but the updates to the roads were not showing on our system (we updated a year before), so took us a little bit of time to find it. We were extremely pleased with the check-in; a hot cookie for each of us. There was a bit of walking to get to the room, but it is a conference center, so we understood. The bed was a little soft for me, but overall, this was the best place that I have been able to find in all the years that I have been making this trip; same amount of drive to where I needed to go to see family than the other places that we had stayed at before, but not over priced. The pool area with hot tub was very nice, but crowded, not only because of an ice storm going on, but there were also swimming lessons being held (seemed to be a gym of some sort attached to hotel; there was also a weight room and indoor tennis). The staff was very friendly and everyone said hello to us when we passed them. They worked extremely hard keeping the drives and walkways clear during the ice storm. The restaurant breakfast buffet was fresh and they accommodated you if there were any special items you wanted and dinner was very good also; upscale, but not pricey.

Thank you for your review. The hotel is nestled on 24 acres of beautiful woodlands and just a few miles from Historic Concord and Lexington. I hope to see you as our guest again so we can better explain the hotel layout, as well as the fun surrounding activities.

Very nice hotel, albeit out of the way.

Posted Nov 23, 2015
Pros: Courteous staff, comfortable rooms, free wifi
Cons: It's a drive out of the way with no amenities around. It's probably built for beltway tech visitors.
Location: Burlington mall and the restaurants are 2.5 mile drive away.
2.5 miles beyond Burlington Mall, however they do have shuttle service to the mall. Excellent staff, very nice hotel. I would rate this a 5 if it were closer to civilization. Having said that, it is a very nice place.

Thank you for your review and I am so happy to know you enjoyed your stay! I am concerned that you did find much to do, as there are quite a few new restaurants and shopping plazas in close distance of the hotel. Also, Bedford and the surrounding towns, including Lexington and Concord, are rich in Revolutionary War history; a history lover's dream. Boston and Salem are a short drive away as well. I hope to have you as our guest again soon. I know our Front Desk Agents will be happy to make a few suggestions regarding area activities.

We had a wonderful experience here at the hotel. The restaurant was not worth the price. Service was way too slow. Definitely overpriced.

A little get away

This was the best place we could find that was close to Salem, most were sold out. Such a nice hotel , restaurant, fire place , pool everything needed . You cant walk to anything and a car is needed but a few miles away there are pleanty of malls and places to eat. The hotel is big and its quite a walk to our room. But the walk is good after the delicious breakfast. Take note that breafkas is not free , go for the buffet you can order eggs any way you want.

Thomas, Thank you for your review! Between the foliage and Salem, Autumn in New England is the best! We look forward to seeing you again soon!
