Not the friendliest of staff. But got the job done. Small/compact dining area. Out dated. Kids liked the pool

Disrespectful & unbelievable

Got the room for my sister & an hour after the reservation was made her husband called & said his mom had passed & she went home. . I called Super 8 to cancel the room & Daniel the lying night auditor stated it was up to expedia & I needed to contact them to cancel. He was very apologetic & expressed his condolences & "wished there was more he could do" I called expedia & agAin very apologetic & sympathetic but needed to contact the property to see if they will go ahead & release my obligation of the almost $79 room rate... He comes back from talking to Daniel & said they have a 24hr cancellation policy & I will be charged... I couldn't believe how this was justified because how could a reservation made 60 min before have a 24 hr time frame but the DEATH MEANT NOTHING!!! So no I wouldn't recommend this property they are scammers & deceitful people I hope corporate makes it right....

Thank you for taking time to review our hotel. We are sorry your experience was not good. 3rd shift is not authorized to release payments, nor to cancel 3rd party reservations. The hotel does have a 24 hr cancellation policy so unfortunately there was not anything we could do about this as it was the same day of arrival that the cancellation was requested. This is a SUPER hotel! The suite rooms was great! So clean and very comfortable! Very happy I chose this hotel!!!

Disappointing

Pros: Evening front desk clerk was very nice & helpful.
Cons: Everything!
Not great. The check in was good - best part in fact. The evening front desk folks were very nice. Daytime front desk - rude and not helpful. Room was small, dingy and the bathroom needed a good scrubbing. We asked for adjoining rooms with my 78 y/o mother. 1st night it was not available, but the desk clerk said she would leave a note to move my mom for the remaining 2 nights we had. The next day, the desk clerk was uninterested in helping us with that and stayed outside to smoke. She then called my mom after we had left to visit family in a nearby hospital to say they couldn't "wait all day" for her to switch rooms. My mom had already cleared her items from the 1st night's room and told the clerk that - only to be hung up on. We were so worried that she wouldn't have a room that I returned to the hotel to make sure it was all cleared up. The desk clerk was rude to me and again repeated that they couldn't wait all day for us to decide. When I told her the room was empty, she just laughed - they hadn't checked the room at all. A total waste of my time! The towels were thin and very rough. Breakfast was pitiful. Mattresses were memory foam and very uncomfortable. We won't be staying here again...

Clean rooms, helpful staff. The desk clerk made it so the whole group could stay in rooms next to each other

Nice place, great no frills hotel.

Hotel was clean and very comfortable. Bedford is a great small town, close to Indiana University. Owners and manager obviously care about this place. They even had waffles for breakfast!!!! I wouild recommend this hotel.

Just an ok place but not worth what we paid

Was an ok place but a little too expensive for what we got. Had a room right across from the ice machine that we had to listen to all night. Not to mention the fact that the pool had a leak so it was closed. Paid $50 more for a room across town the night before at Holiday Inn that was 10 times as nice.
