Easy to locate and happy to visit again.

Pros: Clean and happy about the presentation.
Cons: None
Location: Leisure, cinema, supermarket, trains, taxi, parks, businesses.
Staff welcome people with smiles and know what they were talking about. Good and positive customer service.

Break from the kids !

The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a lovely atmosphere. Staff were friendly but professional. It was a perfect break away from home and kids.

Lovely modern hotel, great value for money

Pros: Clean, inviting and modern
Cons: Price of breakfast could be a little cheaper
Location: It was very close to Knebworth House (to which we had a birthday event to attend). But this is also lovely place to walk around the grounds and within
The hotel was lovely and modern. Lots of nice seating and the staff were friendly. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast was a little expensive at £13+ per person, so we took a short 5 minute drive to the town centre. Definitely a comfortable and clean place to stay in.

Our family of 4 stayed for one night before an early flight from Luton. We cannot fault our stay, it was perfect for our needs. The family room was spotlessly clean, well appointed with modern decor and a fridge/minibar, comfortable beds and very quiet. Right next to knebworh park. We got a great deal and don't think the website does this hotel justice.

Few mins from motorway. Quiet location.

Staff were very good. Good breakfast. Rooms modern and good facilities. Was surprised to find iron plus board in room as well as hairdryer.

Recently refurbished, friendly staff

Having stayed a few nights at the Novotel in Stevenage, I would certainly recommend it to anyone needing a hotel room in the area, especially as it's just off the A1(M). It has been refurbished recently and the rooms are clean and well equipped. I would criticise the 'lack of personality' in the hotel; everything feels a little too generic, however it doesn't take too much away from the hotel's quality. Overall, a good hotel in a convenient location.

Poor Restaurant Service particularly on sunday

The Sunday service in the restaurant was very disappointing. Breakfast was using low quality ingredients such as fatty sausages which you would expect in a budget hotel not an £80 per night one. Bar was closed on Saturday and Sunday nights and the restaurant struggled to cope with just two tables of 8. It looks as though there is a major cost cutting exercise putting profits before quality of service!!
