Hotel cheating through Expedia

Pros: Nothing, all good things cut off with cheating!
Cons: Closed all the online booking cos it only can occupy by 1 person no matter how many adults u key in and once ur payment approved, there is no refund.
I clicked on 2 twin bed room for 2 adult, I don't know why they approved the transaction and payment but hotel only admitted it was a single bed room and asked me to pay the extra when I arrived at the hotel, how come I key in 2 adults and ask for 2 twin beds room, they approved the payment, the single bed room is supposed occupied by 1 person and the system not supposed to approve the transaction and payment, right? When I want to cancel my order, Expedia not allow and said that it was my mistake. I'm very sure there was a cheating from the hotel through Expedia cos they should not allow the transaction if the single bed room only for 1 person whereas they required me to key in 2 adult. Beware of Ao Xiang Ge Hotel Beijing, what u order is not what u want! It's a hidden charge when u arrive the hotel and Expedia not allow to cancel the order and no refund, so means I need to pay how much the hotel ask for it even though I can get cheaper price for other hotel with good location. Cheating! Cheating! Cheating! from hotel through Expedia !

Mold and Hair

I've seen prisons with more square footage than my room. There wasn't any space to walk in the room. My room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but not only did the room already smell like cigarettes the moment I entered, cigarette smoke coming from the neighboring rooms entered my room all day and night. You can also hear conversations from other rooms and the lobby throughout the night. There was mold growing on the wall surrounding the bed as well as in the bathroom and long strands of hair all over the toilet and bathroom floor. When I pulled aside the night table to look for a charging port, I found a sticky mouse trap underneath with bugs stuck to it.

Budget option

If price if you main concern, this place is ok. The location is also good - it's close to the subway and not too far from the city center. Plus, the staff were helpful. The room was small and windowless. I only stayed one night, so it didn't really matter, but if you were there for a few days it might get to you - not really a place to just hang out and relax.

Not-so-Great option

Single person rooms are really small where 80% of the room area includes the bathroom. Their description in the webpage states that they have multilingual staff which is wrong, as none of them speaks and understand English. NO food facilities, but there are some nearby restaurants. However, the rooms are clean with minimum services. No wired Internet connectivity, only wireless with very poor link speed.

Better than expected

The room was small but comfortable. Reception staff communicate well despite not having much English. Walls between rooms are not well insulated. The flight and tour booking agent in the hotel was very helpful.
