Wonderful, quiet and comfortable place in the middle of a Russian neighborhood. Great street food!

Poor experiencePosted Jul 13, 2012
Location: Location is OK if you are lucky enough to get a taxi
The place is not really a Hotel. is more like a "rent an apartment for the day". The staff do not speak English and the scope of the service is less than poor. I would not go back there.

Covenient, cheap, and good locationPosted May 3, 2012
Cons: few people speaking English and just at poor level
Not so easy to find out, mostly when no taxi driver speaks an acceptable or even basic English. We had trouble with the room model which was supposeed to be 3 rooms executive appartment, and we only had 2 rooms with 2 beds in total for 5 persons. Asrived at 2AM, it was not easy not get the room change, but they managed finally.Interresting to notice that the area is full of Russian, with shops signs in Russian, Russian food, etc... Guess that any Russian speaking person would find someone that can understand what we want ! All in all, good average level, big appartment, with sufficient equipment and comfort, covenient place for breakfast and good location to go to central Beijing.

SprogvansklighederPosted Oct 27, 2011 on Hotels
Der var store sprog vanskligheder. Det burde der ikke være på et hotel. Når vi bestilte taxi, kom de ikke. De opkrævede penge for opholdet, selvom vi havde betalt det.

Do not come to this hotel!Posted Sep 9, 2011 on Hotels
I will never come back to this hotel. The only upside was that it was spacious. Everything else was the downside - When we got Into the first room they gave us, we realized the water that came out of ALL the faucets were black, oily and reeked of sewage water! But it was late and we did not want to move hotels again. Besides, the payment to the rooms have already been charged to the credit card. So we stayed and asked for another room. Apparently when you run the water long enough, it clears. (no one got sick, thank goodness!) Then, contrary to the description, staff is NOT multiligual at all. Those that spoke some English was not available at all times. It was very difficult communicating with them, explaining to them what you need. On my last night, I called to inquire about check-out time and was told 4pm. I thought it's bec they are a service hotel that's why the extended hours. On the of my check-out, when I came back to the hotel at 1pm, we found we were locked out of our rooms and wanted to charge us for 1/2 day's worth! They claim check out is 12NN. You'd think that since we were back by 1pm, having explained ourselves, they'd understand and let us off. But no. We waited another hour before the whole thing was resolved. Another claim in their page is that they are 1.7km from Wangfujing, NO WAY! Maybe the subway station was 1.7km from the hotel. Certainly not Wangfujing! The surrounding area of the hotel is also undesirable. When we walked home to the hotel one night, it was very creepy. Felt like a rough neighbouhood. There's been no reviews on this hotel. It's time someone spoke out to warn others!

good experiencePosted Jun 26, 2011
The front desk guys did not have a good english level however they were very friendly and they did everything to meet our requests, there was not internet on the room the first two days, even that the techinicians were trying to fix, they couldn't and we were changed to another room were internet worked. Locatin is very convenient, close to embassies district, good restaurants around it.
