Bad room condition

Posted Apr 18, 2016 on Hotels
I have been using this hotel for the past year. Clock in some mileage. All was OK until the last trip. Was given a non-smoking room which smell very strong of stale cigarette smoke and patches of the carpet was wet, probably that contributed to the smell. Shower tap is not working probably, informed the reception but nothing was fixed. Air-con was loud and not working, room was hot throughout my 3 days stay and I need to open the window to get cool air into the room throughout the stay. Most of the TV channels were blurred. This time round, was a very bad stay for me. These are basic requirements for a hotel stay. Not good at all.

禁煙室に滞在しているのにとてもタバコ臭かった。 換気が関係しているようだった。

Bel hotel dans Beijing bouché par la pollution

Posted Dec 7, 2015 on Hotels

7 day holiday, tips and traveling with a baby

Posted Oct 7, 2015 on Wotif
Cons: the air con
very happy with our choice apart from the aircon not working very well apart from that the hotel was very clean and tidy with a great breakfast so its well worth spending the little bit extra as a big breakfast will keep you going all day, use bottled water for everything to avoid the bugs and eat freshly cooked meals will stop you from getting sick, close to 2 malls and heaps of food places around, friendly people in the hotel and on the street, almost nobody speaks English so be aware of this. when in china be aware you will have no access to facebook, google, google maps, gmail, youtube, watsap, vibor and many things like this as they are blocked. i have traveled Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, KL and Vietnam and i have to say i felt the safest in Beijing by far and this time we were traveling with our 8 month old baby boy (take your own food for your baby for the trip, milk powder etc) this was a good idea as you cant read the labels on there food. overall a great hotel and experience in Beijing thanks heaps taxis are well priced and definitely the way to get around we didn't use the buses or subway so not sure about these but the buses looked very packed so i imagine the subway would be the same, traffic on the streets was light and even in peek hour it wasn't to bad and we were there on a 7 day public holiday for china so best to avoid 02/10 - 08/10 as the sight seeing will be packed. all the best for your holiday i hope this helps Matt Christchurch, New Zealand
