The Good: Very clean! Staff is constantly cleaning (though unobtrusively). Breakfast is ample and slightly different each day, includes cold and warm food, and coffee/milks/juices. All three elevators run quietly and quickly. Nothing is broken anywhere. Simple toiletries are provided. There’s electric kettles in room and tea and instant coffee is provided (with a couple of mugs, and glasses in the bathroom). Bottled water is set out on guest floors (in addition to being replenished daily in rooms) and hand sanitizer is available all over. There’s plenty of staff available to assist, and they are friendly, courteous hospitality professionals who will quickly assist you with whatever you need or want. The Bad: Not much! The maids will bang on the door to ask if you want your room cleaned, despite the do not disturb door hanger and turning on the privacy light. If this fails to rouse you they will call your room nonstop. This can be bad if you’re trying to sleep off jet lag. The Ugly: Not the hotel’s fault, but the shopping center is undergoing renovations and no longer directly connects to the hotel, so you will have to go outside to access it. There’s no longer a Carrefour or 7-11. Summary: Wonderful staff in a clean hotel that is a bit remote from the city center (but convenient for the airport). Would definitely stay again.

A very nice place to stay. Room is clean although it is not very large but has everything that travelers need. Customer services are excellent. The front desk even helped me to call a taxi.

Very Nice Holiday Inn Express
Convenient location with lots of food options nearby. Subway stops at the hotel. Gym/pool is across the street and requires you to get a pass from the hotel desk each time (for each member of your family) before you go.

Loud Noises; Hotel Under Construction
Hotel is under construction from 8 am to 6 pm until the end of September 2019. Paper on the desk wrote 8 am to 12 am on weekdays, but the information is incorrect. Super loud noises even though I stayed on the 9th floor. Communicating to hotel manager was difficult and had to cancel my 2nd night stay. Will not recommend staying here.

The hotel is just next to the train station and bus stop, providing the ease to move around, and it has three levels of retail shops and a Carrefour inside. That makes it a very convenient location for transportation, food and shopping. Highly recommended hotel.

My wife was not well during the stay and the staff are very observant. They called our room to show concern and care, we were very touched by the staff's care. We requested to change room because of my wife's condition and they helped us professionally. Very thankful to the staff's help, will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Everything in the hotel was fine except the air conditioning. All the air conditioning throughout the hotel did not work for the total duration of my stay. The room was unbearably hot. Just not good enough.

Worth your money!

Excellent location in Beijing, would recommend it any day. but it seems the hotel's central heating and cooling system is a failure ( I read an earlier review where the customer complained in the winter about the heating. so a definite problem). Very,very hot in the room, staff can not fix the problem except change your room to another hot room. Breakfast is great - Is mainly Chinese style ( you are in China). Fresh and tasty!!

Nice hotel with American style B/F, very much within main city, adjoining Carrefour Super Mkt. & Seven Eleven. For visiting CNIEC (Exhibition center) take Subway Line 14 (opp. hotel entrance, entry gate no. "B") from Donghuqu Station to Wangjing (Next) Station & change to Line 15 for China New Intl.Exhibition Center (will take approx.15 minutes, in totality). Friendly, English speaking Front Desk staff.

Air con is under repair but the staff didn’t mention it until it's too late. Room feels like an oven in summer. Gym room is under repair but the staff didn't mention it until it's too late. I ask for early check out, staff initially said they are not in charge and asked me to ask Expedia instead, forcing me to dial back to the Expedia branch back in my home country. Expedia literally just asked the same question for me to the staff, and the same staff just said "No". Huge waste of time. I'd be less angry if they could just say "No" at the beginning. They didn't charge for the IDD phone call though. Overall it’s okay, but confirm that all infrastructure is functional before booking.

Staff was very helpful. They stored our bags when we went to the countryside for three days. The price was amazing, the buffet breakfast was great. The linens were wonderful. The bed itself is a typical Chinese hard bed.

Convenient surroundings
The hotel is part of a shopping complex with a Carrefour in it. Very convenient for food and to get groceries. It's also right next to the Donghuqu station which is on line 14 of the Beijing subway system. The hotel is in the northeast of Beijing near the 5th ring, so it's relatively convenient to visit parts of the Great Wall if you have a car.

Close to perfect. Definitely worth another stay.
Stayed a week for business. Wonderful experience. Hotel staff were really helpful, whether it was directing me to the gym, calling a cab for me, or explaining the DIY laundry facilities to me. Thought the room was clean and the adjoining shopping centre was great for food. Would have been perfect if they had a souvenir store there. Breakfast was great! But same stuff for 6 days got me a little bored with the menu.

I would recommend to friends and family
This is a great place to stay if you don't care to be in the centre of Beijing. It is clean and modern and comfortable. There is a good mall below and a pretty good breakfast. Also, there is a subway stop right out front and very easy to get cabs. Would stay there again.
